lol, you just couldn't resist could you? XD
really nice, i like the pose. the folds and coloring for the costume were also done really well. what was going through your mind when you colored that part? what was your technique you were aiming for?

Well, at first I just colored it normally, but it just didn't sit right with me, it looked waaaaaaay under shaded. So I went in the adjustments menu in photoshop and played around with like all the settings there to make it look better, and eventually I stummbled upon the levels tool (which was epic win!). Then after I finished shading Crytos as well as Scales, I checked over everything. I noticed a few spots on Crytos's ant costume that weren't looking right, so I took the smudge tool to fix them up. But I had the strength really high, so when I went to fix the little part, everything got smudged. But then I took another look and realized that it looked like there were folds in it and it made it look like a realistic costume! So I continued to smudge everything out on the costumes...and, well, there you have it. All from a mistake xD
