When I was a kid, I would walk from Sunday School to home, a good ways, On the way, I'd pass a house whose owner was clearly demented.
The lawn was never mowed, the backyard was choked with trees and bags with dead cats in them lay here & there.
It's been decades since I last been to that sunday school or walked that street and do not even know now where to find it.
