Story:

- Castels POV -

I just didn't know what had gotten into this stallion at that critical moment in the halter class. He had stood proud, but had looked so defeated, but coming back it was like he had a purpose. He was carrying his head high and seemed in better spirits. He even jumped around a little ready for tomorrows liberty class. I could only imagine how that one will go! I groomed him down and put him away before headed to supper.

The next morning dawned a beautiful day and colorful trees. The grass was still green however! The horses would love it. I fetched my own Stallion from his stall and started warming him up for his performance. We  have never competed in liberty but I was sure he would get the hang of it soon enough!

As we approached the arena he pricked his ears, listening and watching the others. When it was his turn, I walked him in, slipped of the bridle and walked back out. He tried to follow but soon realized what was happening when the music started.

He took off around the arena trying to show off, but then he started leaping into the air as if clearing invisible jumps! It was quite the site to see! Once the song ended, I brought him back out to watch the others and await placement for the weekend.

- Mirage's POV-

I was so thrilled with my performance on the beach, I was sure I would win a ribbon! I looked forward to the next one which was supposed to have music. As Castel put me to bed, I looked out the stall window and softly nickered my thanks to the spirit in the sky before  I fell asleep.

The next morning brought once more the intense grooming and messaging routine that I had grown to adore. I was eager to see what I was to do next! I watched as horses were lead into an arena and they would run aimlessly to the music. Some of them didn't even keep in beat! The Shame! When one has a good beat, one must keep in beat!

Soon Castel walked me into the arena and I looked for direction and received none. He just slipped the contraption off my head and walked out. I tried to follow but he signaled me to stay. Thats when the music started.

I started bobbing my head to the beat before allowing my hooves to carry the rythm. It was a quicker beat and it carried me around the arena at a nice trot and canter. I decided that I was bored of these simple movements and switched to show off my dressage training before deciding that I wished to jump. I soared into the air so high too! I felt exhilerated! I had never felt so free since young foalhood!

As the song came to a close, I slowed and allowed the contraption back on my head. I grazed while Castel awaited my placement. I no longer cared, I just wanted a pretty ribbon!

Ok loving Mirage :3 he just wants pretty ribbons!

Time: About 4 or 5 hours? So proud of my mountains!
