Description "The history of solitude is long.
It’s made up of a string of individuals
That resemble each other like blades of grass […].
I can turn and see the forest
Walking after me step by step
Like a sleepwalker in a dream."

Wow, that's fantastic. What a perfect poem for such an image. I am so glad I was spared the march of Birnham Wood (the forest that marches to Dunsinane in Macbeth by William Shakespeare). I was lucky enough to find my lover and current fiancee, April, very early in my life (17 years of age). I am even more lucky to still be with her 4 years later. She is a gift I try not to take for granted. Whenever I see images like this one, it reminds me of what a gift she truly is, and I feel humbled by my fortune. Thank-you for another wonderful image.

To be alone is the greatest freedom.
To feel alone is the lowest prison.

Beautiful picture, and I love the writing that goes with it.

Beautiful piece. It has to be one of the few that are fully in colour from your gallery. It's very subtle, and I love the fossil-like details in the foreground.
