Description It had been a while since Viburnum had got out of his starvation like sleep even through what he  went through hes proved himself stronger than what most of us. I watched day by day hour by hour as he was fed back to life each day bringing him back little by little but some things had changed mentally and physically, but what it was none of us could tell. I sat around and talked with all the other predators about their lives but even then we would always lose focus on conversations because being locked in these cell like pods allowed us very little movement and interaction with each other. Day by day I had lost count of how long I've been here and the view of the outside world, that bright light that use to hang in the sky and the feeling of fresh grass under my paws. I missed the many young-lings of my pack as well as the mentality we had. The only thing I could  where glimpses of the others I knew and the ones I knew now the whole world turning upside down on itself the feeling of freedom taken away.
But the other preds here they're my family now and well get through this one way or another.
Day by day each blended into each the other and we often sat and listened to the idle chat from other preds we were stuck to quietness because very little happened in isolation were at. I relaxed in my cage as the others just argued and chatted all in good fun with each other. What took me by surprise was that the young cheetah that had been feeding viburnum had started taking him out of his cage for walks each day seemed like they disappeared for longer and longer as when they came back vibrnum held his head low calmly as he walked into the room as the cheetah held his head high like he defeated some mighty beast. That's what annoyed me each day we all felt more isolated from each other and viburnum was the same way maybe even more than most of us. Constantly he was bieng handled like a servant each day you could see as he sat their laying quietly like he was waiting for something to happen. One day we carried on as normal a small meal for breakfast woke us up as we said our good mornings to the others when we seen that viburnum was no longer in his cage. It took a little while but when he came back he was pulling  the poor cheetah like he was a paperweight which caused us all to laugh until we smelled it. The stench we smelled was known by all of us even the young predators here knew the smell of death some thrashed in their cages remembering their blood lust and the thrill of the kill. Some were quiet mourning the loss of the old predator as he laid dead in his cage.
We watched as viburnum clawed his way at the walls as the cheetah took out the dead predator his eyes closed softly and his body wrapped around itself. Conversation started between viburnum and rings sat quietly talking about how and when gem died. Soon after time passed and we watched as the preds began to calm down from the dead smell. I sat and listened talking to some of the other females int the distance  knowing the men needed time for themselves so did the females and it was a mutual relationship we all had we knew each others circumstance whether it was good or bad some were worse than others but they managed to survive this far and they weren’t going to give up as long as their was breath in their bodies. I felt the same but I wonder if we don’t cooperate what happens to us. Time passed us quickly each day opening and closing some nights I couldn’t sleep because of the many thoughts clouding my mind on what could happen to me.
A few days have passed and we sat relaxing something was wrong we could smell something breezing through the air we could hear the males thrashing and hiding in their caves as if they were ready to claw their faces off from this smell I looked at viburnum as he sat calmly in his cage watching the males flip out from the smell of a female predator in heat. We glanced for a second at each other I mouthed the words “How are you not going crazy?” silently to him “I’m too young to be interested in that type of thing” he said as his eyes veered to the female being contained as she snarled and tried to lunge at her captors. I could hear some of the other females grinding there teeth as they watch this “stubborn stuck up princess” as some put it get carried in as she watched all the males going crazy as if she got a sick thrill from wishing to be mated on the spot and it didn't matter by who just that they could please her. Each day the smell got stronger and we watched as she kept rubbing herself against the walls causing more of the males to scratch at the cages some losing their minds. Time had passed and the smell only got stronger but that wasnt the highlight of the day the inspectors came by and I watched as the young cheetah cried as he sat at viburnums cage as he whined for a short sec before the cheetah took off. The next thing woke up some of the men from their sexual sleep as this smell became much worse causing some to cower in fear as the dragon walked into the room and began to inspect each predator his eyes fell on viburnum as he watched back snarling at the dragon ready for a fight. The dragon seemed amused and chose him.  We heard a quick yell and viburnums whines as he padded into  the cage getting carried out into the imprisonment of  his new dragon master. My heart ached from seeing him gone and as the light faded the darkness within grew.

The name came to me randomly actually. Many of the names I come up are random, the few that I work hard for like, Viburnum, I usually do a lot of thinking and at times research for the names. Viburnum is actually a type of tree, like I had one of the predators explain when I named him.

I am glad you are liking both parts of the story, and I hope you keep liking it as the two parts start separating from each other.

You did good, I was truly amazed with what you came up with. Though you completely missed the part with the female being taken OUT of the room, but that can happen...more or less it would make sense if Misha didn't notice but that is all dependent on you.

When I post the next part I'll message you about where Misha goes, and trust me it is a much better fate that Viburnums.
