Dawnice Sanaa Sutherland was born in SouthBound to her lovely parents, Anthony and Kayla. Dawn went through an enjoyable childhood by playing with other kids and playing board games with her parents. Dawn even involved her baby sisters, Sheva and Kimberly at that time when she was by herself as her parents saw that as a nice gesture. While growing up, Dawn decided to take up sports quite a lot as she had a secret liking to football. Going for tryouts, she would meet Catrina Parker who would go on to become the legendary player manager of Sonic United. However, Dawn's dreams were killed off when she did not make the cut. Down and out, Dawn had to be optimistic for herself and not fall into depression so at that time, Dawn went to the gym a lot while she was working as a helper for the local playschool. Throughout the years, Dawn's body became more muscular and stronger. During those times, she was given advice on participating in the local bodybuilding contests. Dawn went and did it for fun until she shockingly landed 2nd spot! This gave her encouragement to continue with the training and contests where she gained a lot of fan service. However, one person would come along and change her life completely.

Dawn was approached by a man called Schultz about doing a few missions for him. She refused it until he added that it would not interfere with her training and work. Dawn was convinced and decided to do it. From that point, she would find out that those missions were actually assassinations! Dawn felt really sad but in the long run, this young and happy woman became a bloodthirsty and ruthless assassin. During those missions, Dawn would become friends with one Xenia Moskvina. There would be one mission that Dawn would have her work cut out for her. The mission was to "take out" a ruthless leader called Kuro-Oh! Dawn accepted the mission and somehow sneaked in his hideout. Being in the scene unannounced, Kuro-Oh sussed her out. Dawn attacked him which caused a short battle but Kuro-Oh "neutralized" her with his techniques as he knew that it was a woman. With Dawn being unmasked, this led her to believe that he would kill her but Kuro-Oh would have a change of heart! He told her that killing a woman is not in his resume!

Deciding to spare her life and joining him in his quest, Dawn agreed to it and told him her name. Dawn noticed that he had a thing for her but did not want to give anything away. Before Kuro-Oh’s quest of conquering SouthBound, Dawn would find out that Kuro-Oh dealt with Schultz personally which led to his death! That was a for own safety as Dawn became one of his followers by being his right hand woman. Also in an act of gratitude, Dawn decided to give Kuro-Oh a horse which is named Haro which was very big and did not like him but got accustomed to him eventually. During his reign of tyranny, Dawn would figure out that Kuro-Oh was related to the only person who was stopping him as that was his cousin, Edward "Eddie" Onett! Going past Kuro-Oh's orders, Dawn decided to face Onett by herself. For herself, it turned out to be a turning point! As Onett defeated her, he told Dawn to look around and see what Kuro-Oh is doing to the town! Dawn realised the damage caused and knows that something has to be done. Knowing that she can not stop him, Dawn urged Onett to stop Kuro-Oh immediately! Heading up to the SouthBound Fields, Dawn would watch Onett squared off against Kuro-Oh before he disposed of Doctor Krista Schwarz! Dawn tried her best to stop him but Kuro-Oh called Dawn "weak and spineless!" due to her actions.

Dawn had to watch both Onett and Kuro-Oh go at it as the blood spilled! As both siblings fought to a draw, Kuro-Oh collapsed from the battle while Dawn held him and told him that she would take care of him. Though Kuro-Oh wondered why she was helping him, Dawn called it "a favour in return". Also, she would help him get his strength back by setting up a gym in his hideout which actually benefited himself and herself in the process. Spending time with Kuro-Oh made her think as she was wondering if she should continue with her part time job with the playschool which she recently returned to after her assassination stint. Dawn eventually decided to resign from her job because the things that she has done. A year later, Dawn would fall in love with the Machiavellian leader as Kuro-Oh tried to deny his feelings for her but he could not! From that point, The Brotherhood was reformed but in a "different" way with both Dawn and Kuro-Oh at the helm and now, becoming an underground society to certain members.

As the years went on, Dawn and her sister Kimberly would a play a big part in the Sonic United series along with Kuro-Oh during the second storyline when he found out about Teddy Johnston's injustice! Despite trying to get him to join, Dawn could tell that Teddy was very stubborn. However, the Brotherhood could not allow the same thing happen again! Also, they would find out the current owner was not Samantha Zoenitz but was in fact Roxanne Zoenitz, her sister. The real Samantha was married to Richard ‘Dick’ Blair, a member of the Brotherhood! He urged him to let Samantha to know about what is going on at United Park and decided to take over the club. This saw a complete turnaround in Sonic United's title run-in during that season. During that time, Dawn and Kuro-Oh would form a little group called the "Fraternal Group of Super Villainy!” In that group, Kuro-Oh would see a lot of friction between two notable members in Ace and Lady Jynnelle! Dawn did warn him but Kuro-Oh would not expect anything less from those two as she called Lady Jynnelle a "Jamaican fruitcake" because of her randomness!.

Throughout the years, Dawn would give birth to Jay which allowed to spend some time with her son! Dawn did not make an appearance during the first stint of the "Corporate Wars" when Lady Jynnelle was at the helm of Corporation Xleven because she is good friends with the “Corporate Lady”. However, Dawn was not convinced the sudden “death” of Lady Jynnelle after the Smashing Fray Battle and her bout with Teddy. With Kuro-Oh confronted Teddy about that, Dawn did get in contact with Lady Jynnelle as she told Dawn that she had some "soul searching to do!” However, Dawn would be in a battle that she would never forget! One day, Dawn was cooking until a posse of assassin beat her up in a bad way while Kuro-Oh took Haro for a ride! Dawn was in a bloody mess while Thierry and Henry were in a bad way themselves. Kuro-Oh got back and demanded to know what happened as Thierry explained that they were all blindsided. Dawn was taken to hospital immediately while he saw Teddy in there as well. Shayna told the Brotherhood leader that he was attacked for no reason. Kuro-Oh wanted answers as all was revealed a few weeks later. Dawn woke up as Kuro-Oh told her that Bronwjin, Roxanne and Victor Marylebone were a part of this along with the ringleader who turned out to be Cheryl Mackenzie who was the sister of Lee Mackenzie before Kuro-Oh took him out! Dawn wants to fight alongside him as Kuro-Oh refused it. Dawn's eyes turned red as her bruises and scars healed when she said that as Kuro-Oh noticed it and decided to leave for a second. Dawn would later find out the seal of her Ebony Mystical Energy was broken and noticed that she became more aggressive than before.

Dawn returned home a few days later and during the night, she was in the gym as she lifting weights constantly which caused her muscles to grow. She continued week after week as Kuro-Oh watched on! Kuro-Oh confronted her about letting her vengeance getting the best of her. Dawn ignored her and decided to continue as Kuro-Oh warned her not to do anything irrational! Dawn thought about his words and decided to tease him by kissing him which lead to a night of passion! Both discussing about the plan, Dawn told him that she will be with him along the way and hinted Cheryl belongs to her! Kuro-Oh said that he can't say anything there! Returning back with her "Lady" title, Dawn attacked certain members of Corporation Xleven and to add fuel to the flame, Kuro-Oh aligned himself with Samantha Zoenitz. With that being said, she spoke for the first time and told Cheryl that this is not business, THIS IS PERSONAL! Lady Dawn’s battle with Corporation Xleven with Amy after Cheryl ducked out! Lady Dawn showed Amy that she must be feared as she won the battle with her move, Blade Striking Assault. Near the end of Unfinished Business, herself and Teddy who returned back from being arrested would help Sio and Xenia from a beating at the hands of Corporation Xleven while Cheryl escaped from the arena. A few days later, Lady Dawn and Kuro-Oh decided to attack certain members of Corporation Xleven which caused Cheryl to a breaking point, which eventually turned out to be the name of the final event. Lady Dawn would be involved in a 3 on 3 boss battle with his partners, her sister Sheva and her husband, Kuro-Oh taking on Cheryl, Victor and Bronwjin. Lady Dawn would come out victorious in that war but Cheryl had more in store on this night! She destroyed the arena and transformed herself into Darkspine Cheryl! Being adamant of handling Cheryl, Dawn charged at her but Sheva held her arm and decided to help her sister and Kuro-Oh told her that his wife is not going down by herself! All three defeated Cheryl with a Triple Shocking Wave which caused Kuro-Oh to collapse due to the amount of power that he used! Dawn and Sheva tended to him as he somewhat recovered. Knowing that he defeated Cheryl, he would find out that Roxanne was arrested but Bronwjin and Victor escaped from the authorities! Along with Kuro-Oh, Lady Dawn knows that there will be more to this war!

Lady Dawn would be a part of the final chapter of the Corporate Wars as she was transported to alternate reality while she and Kuro-Oh were spending a day together. When they both saw the Brotherhood headquarters totally wrecked, Dawn thought that this was not right at all! Luckily, Haro was there with them so they travelled through a destroyed SouthBound and an empty City of London. However, there would be a few hiccups along the way! He would confront Leigh, one of Cheryl’s followers but Dawn decided to deal with her...personally! Kuro-Oh never saw Dawn in the frame of mind but she got the truth out of her. She confessed that Bronwjin was behind this. After spilling the beans, Dawn ended her life which shocked her man in her life. They headed down there until they saw Teddy Johnston fighting and defeating Sharleen who harnessed the Demon Beast Energy. Kuro-Oh had a “hunch” about Jynnelle being here as well but Teddy kissed his teeth when he mentioned her name! Dawn asked about the hate with Lady Jynnelle until Teddy told them it is a long story! Kuro-Oh wanted to know also as Teddy told him that he is Lady Jynnelle’s half brother! Both Kuro-Oh and Dawn were shocked as Teddy told them that the first Corporate Wars was a hoax to lure him in! Dawn understood his reason for not liking her but she is still family to him! Kuro-Oh sussed out that her relation to Teddy caused her to go irate but in a twist of fate, Jynnelle’s life was spared when she was allowed to live when Teddy could have ended her. Kuro-Oh wanted to forget about that and deal with Bronwjin.

Kuro-Oh, Dawn and Teddy reached there and saw Bronwjin holding Shayna by the neck! Kuro-Oh told her to let the woman go! She saw the man himself while throwing Shayna to the side! He told Teddy to get Shayna out of harm’s way while he dealt with Bronwjin! She told Kuro-Oh that this battle would be pointless. Trying to get out from this, Kuro-Oh would not allow her while hinting that Xenia is way better than her! Bronwjin was infuriated by that comment and told him that he would die! However, Dawn took his place as she wanted face her. Kuro-Oh asked her if she wanted help as Dawn responded that she will be fine. In a diabolical and bloody way, Lady Dawn defeated Bronwjin but she would not allow defeat in this battle until she used the Hundred Crack Barrage. In victory, Lady Dawn saved the Great Fray Warriors and in a shocking turn of events, Terry thanked her for what he did. Although Kuro-Oh never said a word, Dawn said that his way of saying “no problem”. When they were transported back to their normal reality, Dawn knew what she suffered has made her stronger and only has to look forward to the future!
