In examining the original and this one, I was taken with the use of hot colors on the left and the cool colors on the left. Contrast seems to be what this photo is about. Hot/Cool Light/Dark Rough/Smooth. It is powerful and seems to be well within your wheelhouse of being able to evoke an emotion from people with a still image. It holds my interest as I can imagine we all have at some point or another in our lives have either assumed this position physically or emotionallly. I think that this is one of my favorites to date. Thank you for sharing it.

I don't think that the handcuffs were neccessary though. They almost seem too fragile in contrast to the already very desperate impression. Heavy chains are needed here

the idea was even though he's free from them, he's still trapped... in the absence of heavy dockyard chains, dollar store handcuffs worked fine
