Recreation of my favourite Horst P Horst shot, Mainbocher Corset .Horst was a master photographer of the 1930's, working internationally with Vogue magazine.
This piece was very inspiring to me so I very much wanted to do it.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I can't quite remember, but the shadows suggest I had a single softbox to the right of the model, slightly forward, and at a distance of about 4 feet.Β

I was surfing from one deviation to another and then I came aross this one who just caught my full attention. I know you classified this as a fashion portrait, but I keep thinking that if the corset had been a bit longer, or if it was part of a dress, than it would've made a beautiful wedding dress, and given the photograph a very romantic and soft look. The shading on her body is wonderful, it makes a very lovely contrast with the background. I really love your deviation.
