the colors look different but perhaps Im only fooled cause of the fact I know there's something different as you only stated theres something thats been changed but not what it is
Im really amazed by this piece still, the detailing of the nature is just, so inspiring, it is artist like yourself that makes the greatness in DA.

hehe, actually I just changed the eye, it didn't really show on the first one since the picture is scaled down. A I might have changed a few details on the horse, but now I'm satisfied with it.

I really love this one, for so many reasons! I love the way the colors of the horse are the same brown in the leaves, it really makes it look like part of the trees. I interpret it as the spirit of the forest manifesting into the body of a horse. Or maybe the trees are an extension of the horse. I also love that the horse is not beautiful in the extreme or prancing or being showy. It makes it more real and somehow more lovely.

I'd like to see the spirit walking calmly through the forest, effecting and being affected by its surroundings.
I also am a bit tired of prancing unicorns. I don't believe spirits necessary behave like that all the time, but of course people might find it more fun to draw ^^

I start by drawing out the colors with a soft round brush, and then I "just" build more and more detail upon that (it takes some time, the more patience the better the picture).

love the nature, which programme is used for this? Coloring is simply amazing, its a very calm picture, which is nice for a change on DA

The detail of it is wonderful, both on the horse and the background. I don't know why, maybe the colors, but the horse and background are just perfect for each other!
