It basically means that you interact with your horse without any force and with less risk of injury to the horse (if done properly).

this is a breath taking peice, I love it all! And I just adore that blanket. But how on earth do you control the horse using at cordeos? What exactly is it, if you don't mind me asking.

A cordeo is a ring around the horses neck [link] that you use for giving commands to the horse. It works pretty much like neck reining.
Horses are by nature very collaborative creatures. They had to be just like any other herd animals. You don't have to force it with pain to make it do the stuff you want.
So, you simply teach the horse how to interact and respond to the cordeo. If I do this, it means stop, if I do that, it means go to the left/right etc. You just have to ask instead of demand.

Wow thats pretty cool, I bet it takes alot of work to do that though. But that seems a whole lot better than a bridle actually. The horse probeably likes it alot better than a bit in his mouth.

It takes a lot of work to educate a horse with a bit too.
This is a lot better for the horse and you don't have to waste as much time on healing injuries that occur because of forced training.

Yea, I'm sure it does take alot of training. But its probeably well worth it in the end.
