He knew he was not welcome here, but he had to pass this part of the forest somehow if he were to get to the others.

- Why are you here?
- I need to deliver a message.
- This is my forest and you are not welcome here.
- Did you not hear me?! I need to deliver a message to the others! This is important!
- I cannot grant you passage while in your current form and you know that.
- It's war you stupid cat! You need to let me pass! Or maybe you want us to loose and all the horrible things that comes with that?!
- I should know don't you think?!

The lynx forced himself to calm down and lower his voice again, before turning his gaze straight to the wolf who was angrier than he had ever seen him before. And this particular wolf seemed to be angry most all the time.

- I will let you pass in your human form. That's all I can do.
- Are you kidding me!? It will take me days to travel like that! Don't think you can push me around however you want just because you are dead!

The wolf let a snarl escape his throat as he launched towards the lynx with teeth bared.

The lynx however did not move an inch. He simply glanced over his shoulder as the wolf was sent straight through his body and landed on the other side.
The wolf shook his head from side to side.

- I am indeed dead, and that's lucky for you because if I had my bow right now I wouldn't even think twice about shooting you. But as it stands now... You are free to pass in your human form. When you reach the meadows you can turn back. Now go.

And with that the lynx vanished.

Even though I hated it I had to write "the lynx" and "the wolf" instead of their actual names all the time as to not spoil too much in case I decide to start uploading the actual story.

The comic is not anthropomorphic as you might think from this picture.
