I stand in the shower to thinkThoughts overflow my mind like the bathroom floor overflows with water
I close my eyes and sink away
The secrets I hold, never to be spoken out loud
I guess I'll create my own void
These are my thoughts
What I write is what I feel
Things seem so real
Things burst inside me
When I open my eyes all I see is blood
The room is filled with blood and I panic
Friends see me and call my name
I can't hear anything
All I hear are the screaming voices in me
The demons that call me in my sleep
Everywhere I go, they won't leave me alone
I look in the mirror and I see them looking at me
Why are they following me
And why do they seem so real when they stand there
Why does it feel so real when they touch me
Why are they taking over me
I fight with them inside me
When I finally hear his voice
His sweet, gentle voice that tells me to calm down every time this happens
I wake up and see his worried face
Why do I have to hurt people
Why do I have to lie
I can't remember what I said or what I did
I go insane at the thought of losing you
I regret so many things
Of which the most I can't remember
I look at the world with a feeling of distrust
I trust nothing and no one
Almost everyone is a demon in my eyes
They all want to hurt me
I'm scared
Scared to be hurt again
I feel tears coming up
And there he stands
Ready to be my shoulder
I don't want to cry
What must he think of me
Being such a weakling
He says I'm not
He holds me for a little longer and goes with his hands through my hair
I fall asleep for the night and finally have my rest
