Sorry, the pic is just a thing borne out of my own active imagination, and in no way based off on any existing fanfiction (as a matter of fact, I haven't read Bleach fanfictions in a very long while). If I were a writer I'd probably write about this too (even though I don't have a clear and precise plot and such for it), but as it is, this (pic) will have to suffice X'D Though fans are free to write their own interpretation/inspirations of this pic if they want.

Hi Arisu, thank you so much for your thoughtful comment, I truly appreciate it and it made my day and I'm glad that these 'series' cheered you up somehow

Grimmjow's scale is obviously blue (either the same shade as his hair/eyes or darker). Same as with Ichigo's matching with his orange hair though maybe with a little extra shine effect to them similarly to Shadowthorne's Hex's scales where her scales gives off a rainbow-like shine in the light, but on Ichigo's it's a fiery-like shine that may give off the effect of his scales looking like they are on fire under the sun -and that particular extra shine probably unique only to the royal bloodline in Ichigo's tribe/kingdom/whatever *ponders thoughtfully*

Oooh~ I remember seeing pictures of Hex! She's gorgeous and I love that image for Naga Ichigo's scales! I can just imagine all the warm colors his scales would shine when the light hits.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you like it and noticed those little details I've incorporated into this Grimmjow's horns are also a tad reminiscent to his crown mask where the ends look like a pair of blunt horns to me (and presumably -depending on the angle perhaps, as they may as well be the same length- the upper 'horn' seems to be slightly longer than the bottom one).

Me too It's a tad inspired by his 'crown' mask which the ends look kinda like blunt little horns in a way, hence two pairs each with one perpetually small than the other. So is Ichigo's horns too, with it facing forwards like his evolved horned hollow mask, although more curvy and angled differently (not that I hadn't tried drawing the actual horns from his mask on him but argh, it looks so weird and I can't get the perspective right it's downright frustrating, so I went for a more natural and easier shape instead).

*lol* Originally it was a normal pair on Grimmjow but then I recall seeing nagas with four arms or more, so I thought why not? and so I went with it and it was kind of an interesting challenge -and somehow I liked it, it seems to fit him, even if he were a two have normal two arms (as a naga, that is).

Oh, it's actually not that hard as it seems, I learned from a tutorial I stumbled upon on tumblr I think (I've a friend who loves snakes and owns two or more). The basic trick is to create a crosshatch on the snake body and then add in the scales one-by-one in the diamond shaped gaps/spaces.

I kinda suspected it was from both Grimmjow and Ichigo's masks.
And I share your pain about Vasto Lorde-Ichigo's horns. They are a pain so kudos to the animators who had to do it in all angles.

Sure, why not with the arms. It is interesting how it works with another set of arms. Grate that you had fun with that. ^.^

I see. I think that was how I did it as well but I think I'm too awkward with it to do a better job.
