Have I told you about non-repro blue? It's something taught to me by my comic inker teacher.
You scan your lines in the computer and take it into your coloring program...
Then change the color of your lines to 20-25% Cyan. I use the Overlay tool and merge the layers together, but you can probably find other ways to do it too.
In Photoshop, you can actually program it to do that automatically as you open your lines into it.
Anyway...I then print out the new image and do my inks on top of that. I prefer bristol with brushes and crowquil for inking (now that I've actually learned how).
Non-repro blue won't show up when you re-scan your inks. It'll eliminate smudging and looks really cool when you're trying to sell your original work.

So...for that emoticon, doesn't he need his lower jaw, or something similar? :]
In any case, I've been a fan of your work ever since I started watching you, and have one question: about how long, on average, does it take for you to finish one of these images?

lol
welll...it depends really...
sketches can take up to four-six hours total to hammer out...then about another three to five hours to ink...maybe even longer, then if I get the gumption to digitally render...thats another ten-twenty hours to render....maybe longer
I take things slooooow : o

Guess I'm a bit too late with this, now that you inked it, but the feet should be placed a bit more to the back for more balance. Guess the right leg (form our pov) works, but the left foot should really be moved a little to the right. Maybe you can still tweak it in photoshop. Anyway, besides that. Great work dude. Really did the head/helmet.
