Oh, that's very sad. I'm sorry! But maybe with the help of them you can improve it again For me is every language I can speak an enrichment^^ (But unfortunately you can unlearn them so fast if you don't practise them :/ Like you already mentioned...)

I have been interested in native cultures and their history for a long time (beacause I love history in general ). And because of AC III I also started searching as much Kanien'kéha words as I can find and wrote them all together . But all I can say by heart is hello, bye, mother, father and thank you ._.

Wow, I never thought that I will ever get the possibility to "speak" to a Kanein'kehá:ka exept my Connor-figures XD

lol. I just need more exposure to it and I could probably pick it up again. My work had me taking Mohawk classes for a bit last summer, and I forgot how difficult it is! My dad makes it sound so easy! And it is nice to hear my own language in a video game of all things (an awesome one at that).

Here's some easy phrases (though I don't remember where all the ":" and accents and stuff go, so forgive me for that):
Skennen'ko:wa ken? - How are you?/Are you well?
two ways to answer:
Ioianeratie, ok n'ise? - I am good, you?
Hen, ok n'ise? - Yes, you?

I believe you that it is difficult. Especially because Mohawk is so individual, compared to all these European languages, it is harder to learn it. I can imagine that the whole structure is completely different!
I think your dad does not only make it sound easy - for him it probably also IS easy. For a native speaker (of every language) his mother tongue is the easiest.

I just read somewhere that "Í:se" is supposed to mean "you". And I thought that this is right beacause I heard Kanen'tó:kon saying this to Ratohnhaké:ton, too. And now I know that this is right, so I can trust this web page^^ YEY!
May I ask if you know what "Kanen'tó:kon" and/or "Kaniehtí:io" is supposed to mean in english? I haven't found it yet
