  This is a very striking piece of artwork. The palette has bold, high-contrasting colours that immediately grab the eyes of the viewer, after which, the sheer beauty and ferocity of the image hold them transfixed.

  The details on this creature are nothing short of excellent (espetially zoomed in), particularly on the face, however, they do get a bit bland moving out to the wings. This does work in favor of the artwork, in a way, as it draws focus to the center of the piece. The use of little five-point-stars seems a little too cartoony for the rest of the artwork but they are so small that one hardly notices.

  The way the image is cut off at the creatures leg and tail and tip of eir horn makes the artwork feel a little poorly framed. Likewise, what-I-can-only-guess-is-the-wings-folding-over-in-front-of-the-viewer makes the bottom corners seem cut off.

  The sigil is a fascinating part of this artwork. I notice that part of it says "ᛖᚲᛚᛁᛈᛋᛖ" (transliterated from Fuþark: eklipse) which, with the information in the description, shows somewhat of an attention not only to the visual detail but to the symbolic detail as well.

  Overall, this is a stunning artwork with eye-grabbing contrast and fantastic detail.
