Don’t worry, I finished it. (You probably weren’t worried at all, it was just me. I like to keep this kind of thing on a schedule) XDAnyways, Luna has been acting suspicious. (Because it’s all going to be a surprise) and Aiden has had enough of the strange activity, so he’s gone into detective mode. XD

(And it's good you do, but ha, I never plan, I just make it up as I go. Not everyone can pull off comics though, so.)

It’s soo much easier when you plan it all out. Really the only thing that is difficult is the paneling. (As in dividing everything up into parts/panels)

I've never really made a comic but that's only because I don't do well with backgrounds. I don't plan stories though. But oof, the paneling, it looks like one of the hardest things too do.

I actually tried to be more ambitious with the backgrounds for this one, and it really payed off. (And it was fun partially designing their house)

I struggle with backgrounds because I'm not all that good at lighting.

Yeah. I’m working on that too. That’s why there’s purple everywhere. (Cause apparently their house has purple lighting, I dunno)

It still looks better than what I would do, a friend of mine once told me to never shade with black because it makes the pic look kinda gross.

Yeah. That’s a good tip. (Unless it’s a really dark setting)
I usually just use a darker color than the base for shading, and maybe another even darker one. Adding colors from the background helps too. (Because light bounces off of things and reflects colors)

The way I color too also affects how the image looks. Too scratchy.
(Also, I have to go to bed, I have a trip to go to tomorrow.)
