Welp, with the next generation of Pokemon Games being announced, there come the debate that always happens once every moon or so...WHAT STARTER ARE YOU GONNA PICK?!

With that in mind, I commissioned Cara to do a comic which is a sorta update to this particular comic she made which also involved starters.

In this scenario, Cara & JD (My Artist Avatar) have picked their starters after the announcement of Pokemon Sword & Shield. Cara has picked the Grass Type Grookey (Since she has a thing for monkeys now) and JD chose the Fire Type Scorbunny (Since I usually pick A Fire Starter (A Twisted Fire Starter) in every generation). And of course, just as the two are enamored over how cute (and fluffy) the new starters are...they go and have a Battle to see how battle ready they are. Boy...this is gonna be fun!
