I've only had a brief time with All-Stars after playing a match on a demo Vita at Best Buy while waiting for my turn to try out the Wii U. It didn't leave a terribly good impression, although most of complaints can be attributed to not knowing what to do and not being accustomed to the Vita's controls. However, I did find the screen to be zoomed out a bit to far, making it hard to see and I didn't like how your normal attacks didn't really do anything. Regardless, with Kratos, I managed to crank out a worthy score of -4. So, I won't say whether Smash Bros. is better than All-Stars or vice versa. I'm just surprised it took Sony this long to make their own mascot brawler. It's practically free advertising for your IPs, after all.
On a side note, I haven't gotten the Wii U yet, so I won't be able to post my Nintendo Network ID. That'll have to wait until later, most likely with my review of Nintendo Land.
