Thanks!

This is awkward.

I was inspired to do this (and assisted by for the physical characteristics of the piece, although I did just use it as a general guide) by a photograph in the Stock Photography section.

I bookmarked it (thought I did) and got to work. Now that I'm finished I can't find the piece to credit whoever did it. If anyone knows the piece, please convey it to me so I can give the proper credit.

This piece was done for an upcoming job interview. I have a lot of Photoshop pieces but not a lot of Illustrator pieces, so I did this. Took a couple days to do. I figured the three hardest things to do in Illustrator (as well as being 3 traditionally tacky graphics materials ) were chrome, glass and shadow.

Omg, how did you made this... I thought it was a photo RESPECT

May I use it as a stock and if yes, do you have a larger resolution?

WOAH.. its wicked... Althought i'll admit i'd have played around a little more with the shadow underneath the bulb + the glass. Looks a little too flat, but the screw bit and the filament inside.. kickass

No problem, I just can't imagine the odds of actually finding your Deviation and the original.

Ah ha! Thanks Khelgar.

[link] it is...

So you can see, I didn't follow it exactly. I mostly used it for reference on lighting and structure. But still, good eye. I must have spent as much time looking for the source as I did drawing it.

I would say this is damn impressive too. I've been using the gradient mesh tool for a couple years, and have submitted some stuff myself. But I don't think I come as close to photorealism as you have. Very well done.
