Description

Well this guy was just running around in my head for a while now, and while School is delaying work on the Flashfire comic book, I thought I it would be a good time to get out there.

Masion is a Jedi Padwan in the Clone Wars era, and he does survive the Great Jedi Purge at the end of the clone wars, But not in a way you might expect.

I hope to eventually do a few fan fiction stories going deeper into this character and have a little fun but school come first and i will probably wait for the Clone Wars animated series to finish so i do not come in conflict with and cannon story plots in the works.

Masion Wyvern- The Last Jedi Weapon Master.
· Age: 23
-----Race: Hybrid Echani/ Miralukan
-----Hair: dull gray toned white,
-----Eyes: Silver with a slight blue glow
-----Skin color: Pale- chalk powder blue
-----Height: 5”7
-----Build: fairly slender, no visible muscle tone, narrow shoulders.
-----Unique features: Being a Echani/Miraluka hybrid it must be pointed out that most of his features are Echani in nature, he does have actual eyes but they are severely limited only being able to see in detail things right next to his face everything else is a blur out to 5 feet away after that it is darkness.
O---Clothing
---------Civilian: Typically wearing a short length version of Jedi tunic and robes as to not restrict movement and reduce the extra material that could be disruptive during battle, Maison has taken to weaving extra layers echani fiber mesh into his robes to bolsters it protection, this makes his tunic look more fuller and slightly more bulky than the average jedi tunic, also he has woven plates of cortosis alloys into vial areas such as the ankles, upper arms, and sides of the abdomen (these are hidden from view), also has several squares of them woven into the edge of robes trailing edge to act as weights to keep it taut. Normally he tries to rid himself of the cumbersome robe as soon as possible when entering combat.
---------Combat: In battlefield environments Maison wears a modified version of Echani full body mesh battle armor designed to maximize movement without sacrificing protection.
-----No matter what outfit he is wearing he is always wearing a brown headband on his head, the purpose of which will be understood later

O---Force Powers
--------Maison is a weapon master so he primarily focuses his training on light-saber combat using his small amount of force powers to augment his fighting style. Even though he is part Miralukan and therefore naturally sensitive to the force his force powers are on the weak side in terms of raw power but he has an extremely fine-tuned control of them, using mainly universal powers he has two unique abilities. He does have access to force push, pull, jump, dash, barrier, and saber throw. He can levitate off the ground about an inch allowing him to move across any surface for short distances as if skating on a sheet of ice.

O---Abilities
---------Force Sight: Being part Miralukan, Maison has the natural ability of force sight which despite being mostly blind allows him to see people’s emotions and intentions. This come to him as different colors and sensations, Anger is red and burning; kindness is blue and soothing ext… But Maison has trained his natural force perception to that of a much finer level allowing him to see even very fine details of a person’s facial details and details in the environment turning it almost into a type of force based sonar.
---------Force Grapple: an ability Maison specially developed using his finely tuned control of his force powers is a combination of Force Pull and Force levitate to first make Maison extremely light then pulling himself towards a location or target. It is like force pull in reverse but much more controlled and swifter than someone simply using a force push on another person.

O---Training
---------Because of his limited abilities in using the force as standalone abilities Maison has taken the path of a Jedi Guardian and more specifically that of a Jedi weapon master. Not relaying as much on the traditional Jedi stances Maison uses a very fluid and swift fighting style adapted from Echani techniques. Because of this he usually overcomes his opponents through sheer swiftness and a level of unpredictability to those expecting to fight a normal Jedi.
---------Also Maison has not limited himself to only use of Light-sabers but regularly trains with Blasters and other projectile weapons giving him another advantage in making his opponents believe he is at a detriment in ranged combat.
---------He has trained to master single, duel, and double bladed light-sabers, and has also trained in but not mastered the Light-saber Pike, light-saber Tomfa, and light-whips. Though he prefers the dual wield.

O---Equipment
---------Maison uses the duel wield technique carrying two full sized blue bladed light-sabers. While this seems rather lacking for someone training to be a weapon master it is what he carries in addition that sets Maison apart.
---------Maison has a pair of custom build Gantlets that he wears almost constantly on his forearms. These gantlets have a slot for Maison to place his light-sabers in. these gantlets are able to manipulate the blade of the light-saber to form a disk like Light-shield. Maison has trained to use these as both a highly effective boost to his defensive capabilities and as a powerful offensive weapon, using slashing techniques and battering the defenses of an opponent by throwing his weight behind the shields. The gauntlets have a special energy shield projector that coats the inside of the shields as to prevent them from harming Maison as he wields them.
--------As mentioned previously Maison, contrary to most Jedi, carries a pair of pistols to use at short-mid ranged targets. One being a Verpine scatter pistol the other a simple DC-15 blaster pistol, the former chose to counter pesky ray-shields that stop normal blaster fire the latter merely to supplement the Verpine pistol with a higher rate of fire and general utility.
--------On occasion when the mission requires it Maison will also carry a Verpine rifle, a Scattergun or a Verpine sniper rifle

---------Maison’s mother was a Senator in the Galactic Republic representing the Echani home world of Echan during the years prior to the rise of the Empire resigning once the empire was established Stating that “I sore to serve my Republic, this is no longer my Republic so I can no longer serve her with honor.” Given that she was a Galactic senator, Maison had an unsual relationship with his mother for a Jedi as most Jedi never saw their parents again once they joined the order. Maison who ever had the opportunity to visit his mother regularly (even with the other Jedi’s disapproval) and learn about his Echani heritage. His mother is one fond of not just sparring combat but of strategic games, and complex problem solving ideal for a senator.
---------Maison’s Father is a Miralukan that is head and owner of a reasonably sized trading company “Wyvern Interplanetary” that operates primarily as a link between the inner rim and outer rim worlds. He has a commitment for humanitarian efforts often sending supplies to planets suffering in hard time as on occasion running the blockades of the Trade federation.
---------His parents met when his father went to the Echani high counsel and asked to use one of the Echani moons as a staging area for a humanitarian effort to Raxus which was going through a horrible drought and famine at the time. The High counsel wary of his true intentions made him offer. In the Traditions of Echani Culture he was challenged to do battle with the most skilled fighter on the counsel which at the time was Maison’s mother. Showing his prowess in battle and demonstrating his intentions pure and true, even though he lost he was granted the use of the Echani moon. Over the course of the effort Maison’s mother checked upon the progress eventually they grew close to one another and eventually married.
O---Early life
---------Even though being part Miralukan meant he was naturally in tune with the force, he was overlooked by the Jedi for some time, thus he was allowed to grow up on Echan with his mother, and through the training in Echani combat that ever young one goes through was show to be an exceptionally skilled fighter utilizing his force sight to gain a level of awareness above that of the other children. This was noticed by a Jedi Passing through Echani on his way back from a mission on the outer rim. His parents both felt it would be a great honor to be trained as a Jedi, His mother because of the renowned fighting prowess of the Jedi and his father for greater potential for connecting to the force.

O---The Jedi academy
---------Being a year or two older than the other young-lings in his class he quickly showed his abilities in connection with the force to be exceptional, and his fighting skills unmatched by other several years ahead. The other children in the group looked up to him as an older sibling which he lived up to. Quickly developing his skills he rose through the academy quickly and graduated ahead of his class.
O---Padawan
---------Maison’s padawan years where very inconsistent, never being trained under one master for very long, it was kind of like padawan hot potato. Given that he graduated the academy at an extremely young age every time his master had a Mission off world he would be left behind as being too young. Being left on Coruscant Maison would take this time to continue study, practicing his fighting styles with young ones, other padawans and at times even Jedi knights and masters. Other times he would train in developing his force sense and force sight, or go to the Jedi archives and spend hours reading and analyzing the entries. Once his mother became senator for Echan and Maison found out it was his mother he would on occasion sneak away from the temple to go visit her, and learn more about his Echani heritage this forged the strong bond Maison has with echani culture. When the clone wars had begun and the Jedi counsel looked to promoting padwans to the rank of knight Maison was overlooked as not having enough real world experience so he was left as a padawan. This was fine with Maison has he had grown use to his life in the jedi temple, and did not have a desire for gaining higher ranks. He continued to train with various masters when they were at the temple. Most notable he mastered his various light weapons with Master Agen Kolar, futher developing his force sensitivity and control with Master Saesee Tiin and Master Strass Allie, and was occasionally mentored by Roth-Del Masona in Jedi philosophy and practical matters. The counsel repeatedly attempted to place him with a Master to give him real world experience as to finally be knighted but none that were available would take him. Finally Jedi Master Sinube took him as an apprentice sending him on missions on Coruscant to interfere with the crime syndicates on the planet.

O---Personality
---------Maison is a quite person, one of those guys to just leave well enough alone and sit in the corner of the room till he is needed. He spends a lot of time reading or meditating. With is frequent visits with his mother he has developed a great pride for his Echani heritage. He is a tinkerer and when there is time he enjoys fixing and messing with all sorts of electrical equipment. He does not like flying as his force sight becomes nearly useless in the vast distances of space with nothing to latch onto as an anchor. But he feels right at home on a battlefield. He has a deep respect for any worth warrior and thinks highly of the clones as individuals and as fighters, often once he is sent out he is often with the clones in the mess halls and common rooms listening to their war stories. At other times he is sparring with them putting his Echani styles up against the Mandolorian styles the clones were taught. He is not a person to grab for power or higher ranking as he sees the race to the top a meaningless selfish path contrary to the Jedi way. Speaking of the Jedi way, while he follows and respects the basic tenets of the Jedi, through his study of Jedi history he has come to the conclusion that it is not the people alone but the strict rules of the Jedi are what caused many of the old Jedi in history to fall to the dark side. Also when the clone wars started he was wary of the true purpose of the war and declined to enter. This led to a lot of friction between Maison and Master Kolar. He is an Honor bound person and give respect to those he sees as have earned it as either people or fighters
