To be perfectly honest, the reason each page takes so freaking long is because I hate every single one of them. I really want to tell Blake's story, and I've thought about just writing it out and posting it like that, but facial expression and body language are SO important to me, and I'm not skilled enough to explain them as well as I would be able to draw them. And I am a very visual person, and so some of the things I want to happen...I feel like they would have more impact if you, as the viewer, saw them as well.

Anyway, sorry for yet another shittastic page. Expect them to continue to get worse as the backgrounds become more complex.

Also, this is actually what happened to me in the game. I guess that's kind of why Blake's story/character is so important and close to me...Fallout 3 was the first non-linear, truly immersible game I ever played. Before that I'd only ever played like...Zelda or Fable, where it was VERY linear, "Here is your character go here do this yay you win". Fallout 3 allowed me to create myself in the game, and do whatever I wanted to do. And so, Blake's firsts were my firsts. I experienced what she experienced; the fear, anxiety, excitement, surprise, all of it was sort of a mutual thing. It probably sounds stupid to say, but there it is. And this is pretty much what happened for both of us; We were getting shot at, and we ducked into cover and while I was trying to figure out the shooting/aiming/hiding/healing/etc, pretty much having a small panic attack, the Enclave Bot was passing by and killed the raider for me/us. And then I took a minute and thought about whether or not I should continue, if I should come back after I've learned a bit.

But y'know what they say, experience is the best teacher....
