Description For a contest. The characters are from Honey and Clover, one of my favs. This time I will get the entry in on time. I finished this one quickly, I even surprised myself.

I cannot stop loving Hagu-chan burried in the sand! It's so cute and insanely typical!

I very much like Yamada's pose, it's sexy but her expression shows that she's not one of those 'omgimsohot' girls, just like in the anime. Nice!

Thank-you! This was a lot of colouring for me! And I'm not used to putting so many characters in one scene in different places, like foreground and background. It was a challenge that way.

Thank-you! I had to resort to cross-hatching, my marker was beginning to dry out, so I had to think of an alternative. I was thinking of when I was younger, going to the beach and we would bury each other in the sand, it was fun!

I couldn't always draw noses, and it bugged me, so I began focusing on them and practicing, and now I can just draw them. That's what I do when I find a weak spot in my skill, I hone in on it and practice different ways, try out other artists styles and soon enough it just comes naturally, and in your own style. Try it! All things take different amounts of time to attain the skill, but if you keep at it, you'll be so pleased to see your achievement! And this is how I do what I do.
