I thought to myself, what would MY giant mecha robot look like? Sovereign Supreme is it.

Host Shell Symbionts (HSS) are mechs that contain a synthetic brain and spinal cord (Symbiont) that is connected to their pilot (Host) through an often fatal procedure called a "Harmony Event".
Should it be successful, the Host and the Symbiont will act as one being, granting greater strength, reflexes and speed than any regular mech.

All HSS' are unique and can only be bonded with one Host at a time. The Harmony Event further changes the Host and the Symbiont, the latter actually changing appearance and arsenal to better suit its new soulmate. They also possess the "Darwin Engine", allowing it to evolve further as the Host and Symbiont fight together.

The HSS were created as a response to the issue of biomechanical giants dropping down from the skies.
