Today we're going back to the Freedom Flyers side of Astronautical, human/bug hybrids. If you don't recall the Freedom Flyers are a group of good man-made mutants spliced with insects that use their abilities for the benefit of mankind, mutantkind and to help recruit and steer all other mutants into a righteous path. However not all mutants on Earth use their abilities righteously, most do their bad deeds alone but there exists a small faction out there that is akin to an anti-Freedom Flyers. The enemy group is still under heavy work right now, I don't have a name for the group yet and not all the members are made yet. But here's a new one for ya'll! KAYTE!

Kayte is a splice with a Katydid. One of two female members of the enemy faction. She is the most reclusive out of everybody even more-so than Phil. Kayte is an artist at heart and music is her passion, she retains this trait from her past life as a human but remembers little of her former life outside of her musical talents. When not in some sort of nefarious campaign Kayte is usually alone and composing new masterpieces or playing music, she loves string instruments, predominantly her violin which she uses most of all.

Kayte is a vital member of the team, she makes up the major backbone of the group's might as she commands the minor grunts that the team possesses. The enemy group has rounded up and forcefully recruited many mutants that are splices with crickets, grasshoppers and similar bugs, Kayte's composed many songs that control the minds of the locust soldiers, if she wants to sound an alert throughout a compound she will play the alert song she's made, if she wants them to assemble to her current position she plays a song for that, etc. It's unknown how many songs Kayte has composed, she keeps the sheet music in her head she knows it all so well and she seems to always show off new ones, her songs aren't only effective on the likes of her locust soldiers, many stories tell that she's even written songs that can cause a person listening to it to commit suicide, it's unknown how true that is however...

Kayte doesn't speak much with anybody in the group besides the leader and Lee, she really enjoys the company of Lee. She does not particularly care for the company of her locust soldiers, finding them beneath her, inferior and a disgrace to what they are as their songs cannot match hers. Kayte is incredibly stuck up and thinks highly of herself, the only person she feels is above her is the Leader. However she cares not for confrontation and keeps her thoughts internally or in her journal, she's an affinity for poetry and on the rare occasions she speaks with someone outside of the enemy group she speaks in poetic form.

*Because she's just by herself in this picture I should say, Kayte is outrageously tall, standing around ten feet tall, she is the tallest known mutant on Earth currently created. With her powerful legs she is able to jump where she pleases but tends to keep jumping to only the battlefield.
