references are the GoF posters.harry: iv been drawing harry since as long as i remember. when i was just starting portraits i was already doing harry! so he was pretty fast to do. i memorize his features so much!
fleur: was FRIKKIN HARD!!! omg she took so long to do!!! i ended up having to fix her nose and mouth in photoshop, because the actual picture was too smudged and ruined already. yet she still looks weird. oh well. tried my best.
krum: not bad. i kind of rushed him though, cuz i was so excited to do cedric. he looks less scruffy in the actual picture but i think he came out alright.
cedric: cedric took me reeeeaallly long, NOT because he was superhard (fleur was THE hardest, hands down), but because i was trying to be as careful as i could, cuz i was afraid id goof up and ruin his hot face! so i was SUPER cautious with drawing him. id die if i ruined him! i wanted him to be perfect
did he come out perfect? not really, there are quite a few flaws. but im pretty happy anyway! AND drawing him gave me the perfect excuse to stare at his face for a loooong period of time without seeming like a crazy stalker
so...yeah. hope u like!!! yayness.

Dude, I feel so sorry for Krum. XD I mean, Fleur has Bill, Harry has Ginny, and before Cedric died he had Cho. Krum...he had Hermione for a little while, then she got together with Ron. Actually, if Fleur hadn't married Bill, I probably would have shipped her with Krum, lol.

Okay, I might be done by tonight, I really don't know why I thought of drawing it, you just get in the mood you know out of nowhere. And the facial proportions are a bit wrong, I've noticed but only artzy people would notice. I'll probably post the picture when I can, and I did the picture on notebook paper for some stupid reason. Nice signature by the way.

I am not sure what you mean by freehand?
Basically I got the four pictures online, then I arranged the pictures using Photoshop in the order that you see, then I drew a grid over it also with Photoshop. Then, I used a pencil and ruler and manually drew a grid on my sketchpad. Using the grid as a guide, I copied the pictures.
Dunno if that counts as freehand, I did not trace it or anything, but I did use references!

Freehand is getting it out of your head or using a reference instead of tracing it so yes, you did freehand?
It's a term my art teacher uses... I just assumed it was a common term...

Some people consider using a grid not to be freehand because...well I guess because it uses measurements instead of instinct? I just wanted to make sure you weren't one of those people! ah well, it doesn't matter! thanks for the nice comment anyways
