Description Two AG-305E "Prowler" gunships engage Six System Imperium criminals on an Imperium planet during operation "Roman Candle".

In this scene, as you can see by the description, AG-305E "Prowler" gunships engage hostiles on an SSI planet, during the coming "Operation Roman Candle", where we storm the palace of the main leader of the Imperium, which is behind all of the "spice" trafficking, although I don't plan on actually finding and killing the leader of it, as that would be too easy.

This scene took only about an hour to make, the main bulk of it being the semi-realistic looking desert background, and the glow of the rear gunship's exhaust. The actual gunship took about 2 days to create, starting with several simple sketches and eventually tracing over that and detailing it, finally shading and coloring, with a bit of extra finishing such as noise and dust effects. I'm really happy how it has come out.

EDIT: Changed the dropships a little bit, specifically the color scheme and added a bit more action with the one in the background.

I can see that as well. Admittedly, I hadn't quite mastered exhaust/afterburner effects at the time I made this, I think I overdid it quite a bit in this piece.

Without any motion blur, the sense of speed is intense!

Wow....That's amazing. How did you do the glowing bright part after the missile launch?? And may I ask how did you create the background??

The glowing bright missile exhaust/heat effect is mostly just several layers of overlays and brightens, combined with a black darken mask over the dropship that has been lightened up near the rear of the missile pods for extra effect. The mountains/background started with simple silhouettes of the mountains which I then detailed slowly using several layers, and the stars are merely just some rendered noise set to overlay on the sky.

You've achieved Pixel God status. But I suspect you are outsourcing all of this to a cheap 3rd world country to be made.

Jokes aside, the landscaping is intricate, with a lot of ambient depth to it.
The lighting overall, is a 10/10 straight outta paradise - it works so well for this darkness.
Then the technique and the design of the aircraft, is beyond my scope of understanding how that process would even take place.

Once again, I am amazed BlastWaves.
