I wasn't sure what category this fit in... I colored Honeytail with pencils but the bg is photoshop. I had that Ozzy song "Dreamer" stuck in my head when I colored this, and I figured the title would be more suiting
I know it's not perfect...

Wife, I'm so sorry I never commented on this. I could've sworn I had, but I guess I just looked at it and told you how I felt. This piece is one of my favorites. Beautiful use of colors, one of my favorite shades of purple. Reminds me of one of my favorite scents, lavender. You are ever so sweet in that you're always thinking of me and show me so much love, much more than I deserve. I only hope I make you as happy as you make me.

Those spots are nice departure from the norm, and work surprisingly well with the stripes. The coloration is awesome, the oranges and purples mesh so pleasantly. Really gives off a otherworldly vibe. Really like how you added the reflection of purple light on her fur.

I think you have to classify it according with the time you spent in each technique.If you spent more time doing Honeytail than doing the BG(I thik Vera took more time) it must be in Traditional Art,as you chose.
Respect the image,the pose is well done,is not orthopedic I mean.The fur of the tail is nice and I like the detailed clothes.The smile is so lovely,although you put it inverted

WOW. Even more beautiful colored. I'm gonna be honest with you-- when you said you'd thought about putting in a dreamy cloud bg, I wasn't crazy about the idea. But it works... especially how you made it look like she's actually settling *into* the cloud. Nicely done!

Ahh, beautiful. I do always love your inks, but the can get confusing when they're more complex. With the colors, everything is much more clear.
Also. Normally I see artists (including myself) put a cloud-like background in order to fudge the perspective. I don't know how you did it, but the background looks right perspective-wise too. Kudos on that.

I was planing on leaving a comment on the black&white version...And then I see this one. I already loved the black&white version, very good pose (I didn't try to draw such a pose, but I believe it was hard), and with the colours it's really better! Great job, I love it!

It's really impressive that you got the CG background colors to mesh so well with your pencil rendering. Usually something looks off... Nicely drawn and textured as well.
