Today someone blocked me cause I called them a troll account. Because they were literally so butthurt about someone disliking pinkie pie from mlp.
It makes me sad. I wish I had commented more on the idiocy they bring to the world but I didn't know they would block me for such a little thing. So I stopped.

People have the right to like or dislike ficitonal characters. That DOESN'T, however, make it okay for them to hate on them mercilessly or bash their fans without any sort of solid ground for such opinions. It's all about how you go about it.

Honestly, I find it hilarious that people would hate fictional characters at all. They're not real, they haven't done anything to you, get over it. XD Especially if they hate them for the lamest reasons, like pairings. I LOL at them and their lack of a social life. But it ain't right to be a bitch to someone just because they don't like a character/show/book you like. If anything, just ignore them. :/ All that hate circulating can't be good for your health, people.

Well, I don't think most haters (myself being one, as well) actually hate the characters. It just sounds a lot better than disliking them, as the latter doesn't quite convey the feeling. xD Most of the characters I "hate", I just strongly dislike. Hate is more for convenience and roles off the tongue much more easily than "dislike" or "strongly dislike".
