This Lich feels very different from a lot of the ones I've seen. (not just because she had curves and a rack)
I think it's that they seem to put work into being presentable. Most liches look like they spend all their time alone or at home and don't entertain much so they don't take care of their appearance.
Whereas, aside from her skirt being a bit worn, seems to put effort into being presentable and ready to sit, or stand, and talk to mortals and other undead.
Neat change of pace for an abomination.

A plasticized litch would be a bit stiff but could pass for living. Anyone aspiring to become one in latter days might take that route.

Its funny, but I have been thinking of a picture just like this, Β but with a slightly more tutenkamen like headress, Β this is incredible. Β

Looks to me like a Necromancer who became a Lich and prestiged into Mummy Lord.
Hooray for useless D&D knowledge XD

I like the sandy effect coming from her cloak - It sets the "Mummy" tone extremely well. c:
Also, that mask is actually amazing.

I admit it was genius to use a Mummy as the basis for the Lich. Standard ones in fantasy tend to be androgynous at certain point (unless it has a beard) thanks to ending up as just a robed skeleton. I can now imagine that the Women during her time with the living would want to preserve some form of feminine identity and mystic. She would use mummification to some how better retain her figure and use a burial death mask as a symbol of her beauty when she was alive.
Brava Blazbaros.

its kind of central for a thing becoming a lich in the first place

Same. Β Don't worry about not knowing, not everyone knows everything about fantasy games.
It's a magic artifact, usually a gem, that holds the soul of the lich. Β As long as the phylactery is safe the lich can never truly die because the lich can regenerate from that gem. Β They usually keep it in a very safe place.
