She kind of reminds me of the dnd monster Necrotic Slime, which is basically ectoplasm that gathers rags and rope and even old clothing in graveyards to attack victims with razor sharp claws.

For anyone interested, Sylvia Mito is a slime monster obsessed with looking like another character of mine named Cecilia Miles:Β i.imgur.com/KzNbPB6.png Β She's capable of disguising herself as humans, even mimicking their voices, but when found out is capable of firing acid and slime tendrils at their enemy. Β Hopefully the image shows it, but the best way to describe Sylvia is "unhinged". Β She's so obsessed with becoming Cecilia she'll literally destroy the planet to get to her.
