Yep, Godzilla: Ashes to Ashes will be like The Lion King, and The Land Before Time.
And the characters/kaiju are going to be like their respective equivalents

Fun fact: that baby is actually Godzilla, "Father" (one with dark grey skin and red eyes) is Gojira, and "Mother" (one with dark purple skin, and orange/yellows) is Megamijira *a OC of mine*

PROLOGUE, PRESENT TIME
Imagine a world, millions of years in the future, a world where evolution has written a new chapter in the life. The world is inhabited by strange and savage creatures called: Kaiju, fought a ruthless battle to keep the Earth in balance. This is where our story began...
KAIJUZOIC ERA, 12 MILLIONS YEARS IN THE FUTURE, TOKYO FORESTS, ATONMUS' RIDGE
*Cue Circle of Life (Japanese)*

Kaiju from all over the world wander.

A group of pterosaurs flew across the sky, but are under the rule of an even greater pterosaur, Pyroxiaoteryx rodanesis aka as Rodan, which rule the skies in the mainland, and the volcanic peaks.
On land, we see a family of large blue theropods called Gorosaurus, five youngsters are in a cave resting, as a loud roar is heard, and its the mother, her dark blue iridescent scales, her feathers blow against the wind, as blood drips from her mouth, as she brought a large meal for her young.
In the cold peaks of Moscow, mountains and tundras filled the landscape, but we think life can't flourish there. A large mountain shakes, as a huge white and blue Ankylosaur titan with ice armor, huge spikes and a gargantuan club, rise up from the snowy ground, a gigantic male Anguirus roars at the top of his frozen lungs, as all of Russia can hear him.
But we cut to our main focus, at Atonmus Ridge.
A clutch of eggs resting on a nest lays in the huge mountainous cave.

One of them begins hatching.

A large female Gojiran with dark purple scales, a dark grey-blue underbelly, orange/gold eyes and purple spikes, is sleeping next to her clutch, but one of them opens, and there's a small crack in the egg. A small baby hatches, and sees his sleeping mother, as he chirps to see if the mother will respond.
Godzilla: *chirps*

A larger Gojiran walks in.

The mother named: Megamijira looks at ther royal husband, and the baby looks at his father.
Megamijira: Your majesty, king Gojira. Our son is born, the kaiju are waiting. May we present them their new future king?

Gojira: We shall.

All the kaiju are waiting at Atonmus' Ridge, even some fauna are there for the big event
And Gojira walks out with his queen Megamijira, and little Godzilla on his mother's head, as all the creatures on the Nihon Valley gaze upon their rulers.
Megamijira to Gojira: Your majesty, you must speak.

Gojira nods and gets up.

Gojira: Subjects! Kaiju! I hereby announcing this special day, as we got a special kaiju born today, he shall be your future king when my time passes, he shall rule over the Nihon Valley
All the kaiju bow down.
Megamijira looks at her husband

Gojira roars loudly, same for Megamijira.

All of the Kaiju roar,

MEANWHILE, AFTER THE CEREMONY
We cut to another side of Atonmus' Ridge, we see a small Kaijuzoic descendant of a ceratopsian dubbed "Musaceras" as it crawled out of a cavern opening, as it looks for seeds.
It wasn't there for long, as a large scaly claw grabs it, and holds it by pinching its tail, as another Gojiran looks at it. Named Kyojin, he has dark brown scales, pale grey-pink underbelly with blood red eyes and dark crimson spines, as well as dark red armor looks at it, and grins, as the Musaceras struggles.
Kyojin: Life's not fair isn't it? You see I, well I, shall never be king. And you, you shall never see the light of another day.
He opens his mouth and is about to eat the little morsal

Uzaz: Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with your food?

Kyojin rolls his eyes
Kyojin: What do you want?

Uzaz: The king is on his way.

Kyojin: Whatever, I better have a excuse of me being late?
He ignores what Uzaz says and gives a creepy grin
Kyojin: Oh I quiver with FEAR!!

Uzaz: Now, Kyojin, don't look at me like that!

Uzaz: HELP!!!
Uzaz was about to fly off, but Kyojin catches him in his mouth, luckily not killing him

Gojira: KYOJIN!!!

Kyojin turns back, and secretly still holds Uzaz in his mouth
Gojira: Drop him
Uzaz: Impeccable timing, your majesty
Kyojin spits him out and walks up to him gently
Kyojin: Why isn't that my big brother, Gojira? Descending from the higher lineage of rulers
As he walks away slowly, but stays at his spot

Kyojin: That was today? Oh, I feel simply awful...
He scratches the rocky wall, making a very, very loud screeching noise, as Uzaz cringes at the sound
Kyojin: It must have slipped my mind.
Uzaz: Yes, as slippery as your mind is, as the king's brother, you should have been first in line
Kyojin snorts
Kyojin: Well I was first in line, until the little scale-ball was born...

Gojira: That scale-ball is MY son...and you're future king.

Kyojin smirks
Kyojin: Oh, I should practice my courtesy
He turns tail and walks off as nothing happened.

Gojira's spines and chest markings and runs up to Kyojin, snarling
Gojira: Is that a challenge?!
Kyojin smirks
Kyojin: Temper Temper. I wouldn't dream of challenging you
Uzza: Pity, why not?
Kyojin: Well as far as brains go, I got the Gojiran's share when it comes to brute strength. But I'm afraid I'm on the shadow's end of the dream pool.
The brother walks off into the distance

LATER ON
Megamijira was out with Godzilla, as they walk around the prairies.
Godzilla: Mother, did father ever say that I would be king?
Some pterosaurs fly overhead

Megamijira: He did.

They reach a watering hole, and Megamijira.
Godzilla: How did you become Queen, and how did you meet father?

Megamijira: That's a story for another day.

As Godzilla drinks, he spots an Anguirus, in fact, two of them, as many of the creatures, including his mother is drinking.
Godzilla: Mother, can I see what is that maybe I can make new friends?

Megamijira: I see.

Godzilla: Can I? Please, mother?
