Description WEWT!

A commission for =dj-darkviper of his character Tarek.

I must say, I had fun with this. Not to mention it had me challenge a few things of myself.

Not that it's a bad thing, but I think I did a little overkill on this one- but I couldn't help it. I was havin' fun~

Tools:
- Pencil + Paper (sketch)
- Painter X (lineart)
- Photoshop 7.0 (color)
- Wacom Intuos 3
- 30% original size

If you're interesting in commissioning me, click here for more information!

This was on sale on art4love site for $289, If you aren't aware of this huge theft yet, check this [link] for example and spread the word.

A lot of people are getting their art stolen and sold with prices like that. The site is currently down(or for good)
but the whole gallery is still on photobucket as screenshots, I found your pic there and decided to spread the word.

HOLY McSHNAZ.
There's.. not even anything to crit here :3 My favorite part is definitely the angle- It kinda reminds me of the fish-eye-Lens on the camera. Absolutely AWESOME.

Once i scrounge up some money, I might have a commission for you. Just because of this, right here.

"And then Trogdor smote the Tarek, and all was laid to Burnination..."

I love the "wall-eye" perspective you used here! It gives prominence to his legs and feet, granting power and significance to his landing. It makes us imagine that he has just leaped the fence, and we can almost hear him just landing with a resounding thump! into the muffling snow, drawing his weapon with a confident click as he readies himself for the raid.

I envy your ability to render realistic folds in clothing. :envy: His pants and feet look sostraight, powerful, and human. The intricate fold-shading almost act like motion lines in compliment with the unique perspective, showing Tarek in his "hero" shot, as though this were a comic or manga.

The snow looks like a fluffy blanket. Using the blue brushstrokes gives it that powdery consistency while accounting for the reflection of moonlight. The tail looks very fluffy, too. Well done

Nice doubled-comment posting~ *takes the blame on dA*

But nonetheless- I'm glad to see I'm successfully rendering in not-so-front-face views and bendin' bricks!

Always glad to have your approval~

Yes, "deviantART" is a good name for this site, seeing as how it likes to play little trick on me now and again! I got an error page the first time I tried to post that comment, so once I finally got it up again, I reloaded the page twice, and both times it showed nothing there. So I posted it again, and sure enough, it was messing with me...

Nice dramatic and exaggerated perspective! I like the tones you used in the snow, and the mood of this picture. I get the feeling this character might not be from an organized group, like police or something. But even if he is, seems a little bit of a 'Not by the books" kinda character. Rough, yet slim. I think the background compliments this character, but also helps this character jump out at the viewer more. Looks good Blaze ^^

? I'm not sure what you mean by tones- but I'll assume ya likes the snow effect! (yay)

Thanks for the awesome comment dude! ;~; I still gotta work on perspectives though if I wanna keep makin' 'em look this decent~

i really like this pic. its really cool the way you did this perspective. i mean not only on his body, but also the way we see the background distorted because of the perspective things. also i have to say th snow, the gate and the buildings are really cool. i like the full moon too. and of course its a really cool guy. as i said before the perspective and his pose are very well done. yeah that tail is very well done. the colors and shading there are really nice. i also like the way you did his pants and jacket. the folds are really well done as always. hehe and his evils expression is really good too. i love he way you did it. awesome pic sweet ^^
