That out of the way- I messed up my time and didn't plan, so this isn't as finished as I would like it to be. So here's part 1 of the battle, I figure I should at least get that done.
It's not polished, and I don't consider much of an animation despite things move and such (sort of).

Flash is not my specialty. I'm still trying to learn it. For the time being I can't do buttons and loading bars yet (I tried following a few tutorials, but I found out it's not exactly a rush job when figuring out what you did wrong. That and I have a terrible distaste of ActionScript.)
Perhaps next time I can plan my time better and do some real drawn animation.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about.
Seems kind of silly to be eliminated like that... You'd think it would just be a competition between you and your opponent.

I like how you did this in the anime's style (with the dodging and interesting attack use) rather than the games' static battles. This looks great for an animatic. Very clear, reads well, and the art style looks good. Nice work!

Now that I'm home and can finally watch the full thing, I must say it was entertaining. XD Best thing about the Pokemon show is that it isn't difficult to nail the animation style. Nicely done~
