Yeah, got my old scanner back~ I am happy~ Here, have some fanart for a game that you probably have never heard of before. BlazBlue needs more love D:

Anyway. From top to bottom: Ragna, Saya, and Jin. I've had the sketch for a while, just never bothered to finish it. I had coloured in their clothing, and then stopped at the skin because I had zilch experience with colouring that and I was paranoid that I'd ruin it. This might sound weird, but I actually had to steel myself for colouring the skin ._. I need more practice.

This was exceptionally fun to colour, actually. Kinda-sorta fun to sketch - it was something new, but drawing the faces pissed me off because I had to redo it so many times. ...Must've spent at least a good two hours on the sketch OTL The grass was pretty annoying, though, because for some reason I have a lack of green markers that are not eye-hurtingly neon coloured.

Mmm, you probably won't get the symbolism crap behind the picture unless you know the entire backstory... So, you probably won't get why I threw in so much random crap :/ Like the ice, and the flower petals, etc. Psh, whatever.

As a final note, the scanner did kill some of the lighter shading. For example, there was some light green in that stretch of white in the grass, and the clouds were better shaded, but hey. Much better scan than what that HP scanner could do.

Lineart: Sketched, as usual. HB mechanical pencil.
Colouring: Copic Sketch markers.
Paper: Aquabee manga paper.
Time Taken: ...Er... I lost count... At least 7, I'd wager.

Edit: Hmm. Blurry picture is blurry. You can download for full-view, but it'll still be blurry... I'll try to get a higher resolution scan sometime, when I can be bothered.
Other edit: Okay, I tried doing some higher resolution scans, but for some reason my scanner hates Jin's mouth. Whenever I try to scan anything higher than 150dpi, it disappears. Really. And then he looks really weird.

Edit 3: Bahh, why do I always always always forget the credits! OTL BlazBlue belongs to ArkSys.
