Man, what's with me and two-word titles lately? xDAnyways, this was a quick doodle I did before going to bed. Excuse some colouring and anatomy mistakes.
A month or two ago I went to my art store and picked up a piece of Japanese paper. It's textured so colour pencils wouldn't work well, so I used my markers =] Copics work quite damn well on Japanese paper. I'll probably buy some more when I have the chance xD
I think I've been using my markers a bit too much. I accidentally broke one of the nibs on one marker, and two others are starting to run out of ink. Joy.
Lineart: None, sketched with mechanical pencil
Colouring: Copic Ciao markers
Paper: 8.5x11 Japanese paper

I haven't tried my new papers yet, though, so I don't know if they're any good. But I can get some Japanese paper this weekend =]

Do you think you can get me some other papers as well? And nice paper that has that 'cloudy' effect will do :] How about parchment paper?

Hmmm... The closest I have to that is basic cardstock 12x12 tan parchment (Got that info from the barcode thingy xD). It's got a rather cloudy effect, but not like [link] The clouded effect is more smashed together, if you know what I mean LOL.

Yeah, but the problem is that my mom won't let me send them coz they are hell expensive x__x The colour grips are cheaper than the art grips, by the way XD But the colour Grips are way better :]

What other kinds of paper does your store have? It would be awesome to draw on cool papers, maybe metal papers XD I'd probably mess up ad waste it though
Ooh It's really cool, because my art store stocks awesome canvas paper, so it's painting, but not on the borded canvas. I need to get some.

Errr, my store's pretty limited in paper actually LOL. That's just about the only 'unique' paper that I found, although they do have bristol and paper especially for painting and sketching. I was browsing around Michael's the other day, though (We had to buy envelopes and being the person I am, I wandered off by myself) and found 4 pieces of awesome looking paper =] One's plain black and textured a bit like Japanese paper, one's a shiny silver (Though I'm quite sure it isn't metal paper lol), and the other two have cool patterns =] Can't wait to try them out! Though they won't fit in my scanner... >.>
Yeah, I was trying to take out the brush nib to refill that marker, but I accidentally kinda tore it in two... I don't know my own strength. LOL. I actually did manage to refill if eventually, though there was no saving the nib anymore.

Ehh, I can always buy a replacement marker, but buying ink is more economic.
