(A/N: This is my first fanfiction a pokemon-based story based in our world with a bit of a twist open to feed back. This will be an action, adventure, comedy maybe lit bit of romance sort of thing. I do not own pokemon only the characters Pokemon belongs to Satoshi Taijiri)

Chapter 1: Well that just happened

It was a hot summer day on Stradbroke Island there was a Jeep pulling up to a aqua painted beach house nothing fancy, but still a beach house nonetheless. Lachlan Wildman a tall 6’7 man got out of the driver’s seat with his dark hair glistening in the hot summer light with tanned skin, hazel eyes and well built body, clad in a red and black checkered button up shirt, white shorts, “Okay guys we’re here”, he hollered in a deep commanding voice, “We’re here. No crap, I just thought we were going to break into this place and steal whatever is valuable.” Remarked by Zeke Shade a tall 6’4, short blond hair man, wearing a white Hawaiian shirt with orange flowers and black shorts. “Just because you’re the Biggest doesn’t mean you call the shots around here, Lachlan”. The man said comedically, “Yeah, but who invited you here so you don’t go insane from boredom, Zeke”, “anyway we should wake up the others they seem to have fallen asleep, yo guys we’re here Ray, Joel, Casey, Mikey get your assess in gear”.

As the rest woke up they quickly unpacked the car, Ray Monarch an average 6ft heighted guy yet was shortest amongst the group was a light brown haired shredded tan man who wore a light blue shirt and black pants, who was currently packing his stuff into his temporary room. The twins Joel and Casey Swarley had very similar face structures and same blue eyes same shade of brown hair, trim build, 6’3, they even wore the same outfit green shirt, white shorts the only difference from Joel to his younger half was Casey’s unique hair design which was a fusion between an afro and dreadlocks * we call it the dreadfro*. Michael Maximov was a 6’2 Russian Thai man wearing a black shirt and white pants with a red highlight finishing the touches for his room.

After the unpacking has finished Lachlan laid on the couch in a grunt and turned on the TV and it came up with a gaming channel. “In current gaming news the head Pokemon USA has announced that they indeed are trying to breed actual pokemon”, as Ray walked through the hallway to find Lachlan watching TV, “to think Pokemon was like 50% of our childhood, now they are trying to make the damn things”, Ray said reminiscing “To think that franchise lead me to my closest friend”, Lachlan said turning off the TV.

“Come on Mohammad is almost here and it is his first time here,” he continued. “Yeah, that guy is fun to be around”. Ray replied, They heard a Ducati motorcycle pulling up in front of house with a duffel bag sitting on the back “Yo guys, Mohammad is here” shouted Zeke, the man removed his helmet to reveal Mohammad Kuchoma a African gentleman, 6’4, trim build with extremely short curly hair and a beard clad in a black and green jacket and black jeans for riding. “Great you could make it buddy”, “well someone had to make sure you didn’t end up on the news with the caption doofuses drown in booze and they the cut to a picture to Zeke naked in a tree”. Replied Mohammad; “I would punch you, if that wasn’t 100% true” was Zeke’s response.

“ Yo, I think it is time to the beach” Zeke roared with enthusiasm, “Well if its one of Zeke’s good idea, we only get one of those once a year”, quoted Joel “nice” Casey said siding with his twin. “Screw you, you double decker dumbasses”, “okay, okay, girls your both pretty now lets haul ass TO DA BEACH BABY”, with those words every one let out a manly roar in encouragement to the idea.

They quickly made their way to the beach and they saw a rocky cliff. “Hey guys whoever gets to the top last have to do the dishes tonight”, the guys immediately raced up the cliff although Lachlan was coming up first because despite his size he was quite fast he was the first to the top of the cliff when the others got up shortly after. “You move fast for a big guy,” Michael said out of breath, “Mikey one word, cardio” Ray said in concern. Lachlan sat down near a cliff looking at the sunset he looked with a smile, “Hey guys, do you guys have any idea how long any of us have been together without the weight of uni”. “Its our first year working towards our goal, Me becoming an accountant, You a doctor, Joel and Casey marine biologists, “Hell yeah” the twins uttered. Mikey traineeship in becoming an engineer, Mohammad training to be a paramedic and Zeke scarily enough becoming a teacher, “Oh screw you, Wildman”. Everybody laugh and assure Zeke that they were only messing with him cause that what friends do with each other.
“Anyway, back to the main topic have any one of you thought that we were meant for something else, I mean I dreamt of performing on Saturday night live and whatever happened about us staying together I know we talk online and all but I just really missed you guys”.

Ray sat next to his buddy and put his hand on his shoulder, “Hey it has been us against the world from grade school to high school our band of brothers that kept growing and growing, Nothing in this goddamn world will break us apart”. “Yeah except maybe a zombie apocalypse”, Zeke announced which everyone agreed on, “Yeah if any of you get infected I will have to shoot you in the face”, Lachlan said in a serious tone. “You and your zombie apocalypse paranoia” Zeke said trying to hold back his laughter.

“Yeah well you can suck a –,” Lachlan was cut off by the sound of a booming explosion, at that moment the guys looked to the horizon and saw a light of rainbow energy that spanned across the horizon. “What the hell, run bitches,” Mohamed said in a panic. They attempted to run away but the light enveloped them. As the light enveloped them their bodies began to mutate, it was a new level of pain experiencing your body changing at an alarming speed during the process Lachlan saw a small pink hairless cat/small wallaby like entity after that they blacked out from the experience.

When they finally came to it the sun could no longer be seen, it wouldn’t have mattered though because their vision were blurrier than an old tv and the shock they would receive would block out everything else. “Guys where are you”, the sound of grunting was a sign that everyone in the group was still alive. Ray was the first to regain clear sight, “hey guys I think I have a concussion because I see a giant Pikachu wearing Lach’s clothes, the second to grasp the situation was Mikey who let out a scream, with that everybody looked at Mickey then after a moment of shock of the sight of Michael then at their own hands the group instantly yelled in an eerily unison, “what the hell is this”.

They panicking brood of Queensland first year university students were comprehending the fact they were turned into half human-half fictional monsters, Lachlan became a Pikachu he still retained his dark hair on his head his muscle mass increased, was covered in yellow fur except on his new crimson red cheeks, he grew a tail the shape of a lightning bolt that poked through his pants. Ray found himself to be a humanoid birdlike like pokemon with red, green and white feathers with a green featherlike mask known as Hawlucha still retaining his brown hair. Joel and Casey has transformed into human size Poliwhirls with their unique hair styles, they were incredibly lucky that they didn’t get Poliwag forms they would have been screaming where have their arms gone. Zeke became a shadowy figure with no legs and disembodied hands wearing Zeke’s clothes, Zeke had transformed into a haunter still retaining his blonde hair. Michael fingers and toes have become claws was covered in black fur, his breath was ice cold had a yellow jewel like crest on his forehead, and a red blade for his right ear and two of red blades for a tail a humanoid Sneasal. Mohammad the last of the group retained his build but his entire body was covered in red fur and his eyebrows morphed to represent smoldering flames, he turned into the fire pokemon Darumaka.

The guys were still freaking out from discovering their new forms. “OUR BODIES, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED”, the twins said freaking out, felling their new amphibian like heads, “The twins bodies changed, I didn’t notice, just thought because their ugly mugs were still the same. “Your dead Zeke” the twins agreed in Unison. A fight broke out between Joel and Casey against Zeke, Mohammad, Mikey and Ray tried to break up the fight, but they had obtained increased strength and animal like attributes so it turned out in a all out brawl and Lachlan had a front row view of his friends tearing each other apart. Lachlan kept his distance because he is trying to find a reason why, “Guys I’m trying to think here”, they could not hear him over the brawl, “Guys just calm down”, they still couldn’t hear him, “Guys STOP”, the docile Wildman raised his voice and clenched his fist. The fighting kept on getting vicious, Lachlan was at the breaking point between rage and concern, “ENOUGH”, with a might roar his fist were lit on fire, he was using fire punch a move Pikachu can’t learn and he was performing it. Everyone stopped and stared at Lachlan and his flaming fists.

Lachlan’s fists extinguished stepped back but he didn’t see where he was going and he fell head first off the cliff the guys rushed to the cliff to save their friend but they couldn’t there was at least less than 100m and he was going to crash into shallow water, the Wildman panicked, he threw his hands up instinctually and lightning shoot out of his hands and propelled him back up the cliff and into the trees nearby getting cut up by the impact.

When the gang got him out of the tree and looked at his wounds, but Ray with all his medical expertise could only marvel what he saw. Lachlan’s wounds were healing right in front of him and was fully healed within seconds, “Holy crudnuggets, Wildman’s got a wolverine like healing factor”, Mohammad said in disbelief. With everyone calming down from the transformations, by seeing their best friend nearly fall to his death, “Well boys, this is going to be an interesting weekend”, he joked.

(A/N: If any of you are wondering about the healing factor, I’m incorporating the healing while you move from pokemon mystery dungeon also I have a theory that pokemon have a natural healing factor and the healing machine at the pokemon center speeds up the natural healing process P.S no flames please I’m new if you don’t got anything nice to say don’t say anything at all, especially about Pikachu can’t learn fire punch that is actually vital, want any spoilers (audience nods head), well NO SPOILERS FOR YOU)
