My second entry for s "Dark Feelings" ContestIt seems that all people have an insane fear of being rejected. If that is so, then why is it that we are always so quick to reject other people?

The only thing I could say is that the pettals looks like they're falling into an alligned formation... and to suggest that you scatter them a bit. As for the whole... I'm speachless. Guess it's your best work until tis moment. Keep up the good work!

sure will!! this was my desktop background for a long time (that is, until i finished my work with [link] ) This is one of the last works i did with a full body model. (I kinda find myself leaning toward manipulating portraits now.) Anways, i'll stop babbling

So quick are we to caste others away for their views and beliefs because they differ from our own and expect them to not be hurt or angry for what we have done to them yet when society does it to us and we are placed into the same situation that we have put many others, we take one of two paths: That of pain and anger in which we turn upon all others, wanting to repay them for what they have done or that in which we acknowledge that a person must be accepted for who they truely are and seek to heal the wounds that have been made.

good point. The way i see it, people can think whatever they want to about someone else. they can lvoe them or hate them. but that won't change who they are. and who they are is something no one else can ever be. and honestly, i think the reason we judge others so harshly is because we don't want to have to face ourselves. we are so scared to really look at who we are, because we don't want to take fault for anything. i think, in the end, we're scared that if we recognize our own faults, then everyone else will be able to see through us. maybe thats why we're so quick to push people away.
