Ahh, Huehuecoyotl. The most lovable Aztec god around. Lots of depictions usually show him with a group of humans who appear to be friendly to him instead of worshipping him, so that basically just spills out that he's basically a favorite since he's pretty much closer to humans than the other gods were.

He was a lot like Coyote from Native American tribes, especially since they were both coyote tricksters whose plans usually backfired.

But there's one thing about Huehuecoyotl that's just plain awesome: He's a bisexual.

What makes me say that? Wikipedia says so He had female lovers (Temazcalteci and Xochiquetzal) AND male lovers (Opochtli and Xochipilli). He can also shapeshift, and change his gender at that.

And that adds to how he's dualistic.

Since he was the only friend of Xolotl (another canine Aztec god), I thought it would be pretty funny to add him into the picture with a "Stop doing that." kinda look. (Xolotl was a pretty dark god, anyway...)

Oh, and did anyone notice I added a tail onto Xolotl?
