This is the only picture I really have with no one cluttering in the background, so I slapped a title on it to try and make it look like it's from Metroid. Unfortunately, it kinda hides the blue of my eyes
Oh and I've been getting this question a lot, but yes, that is my real hair, not a wig.

I enjoyed that game, so I don't share your opinion. I appreciate the compliment, but obviously I wouldn't have dressed up as Other M Samus if I disliked the game.

Awesome that you did it with your real hair. Not to knock on those who use wigs though. I bet it would take a while to grow out hair that looked like...Rosalina, for example. (me and my overobsession with her). Here's hoping for a Metroid Prime 4 at E3 2012!!

Now that's pretty damn cool. I was never a fan of her redesign for Other M, though I liked the game. Nice fabric choice, looks just like the sort of wet/metallic look from the commercials.

That's awesome!! What material did you use? I am amazed by some of the talent I see when cosplayers make their own costumes, and so well too!! I am trying to find some tips on making a zero suit for my first cosplay ever. Unfortunately I have very very little sewing experience

If you don't want to sew things yourself, I suggest buying a zentai suit. A good place to go for those with free tailoring is lycra-zentai.com

They will tailor it to your size, but I'm not sure they'll add the designs unless it already has them in the picture. I just painted mine on with fabric paint using masking tape as a stencil.

Well, there's somewhat of a rumor of a handheld Metroid for the 3DS in the future. I'm hoping for a hunters sequel at the least, if Retro is willing to take the series under it's wing again.

I myself was hoping for Metroid Dread to show its beautiful face again. Nintendo's E3 press conference is like, 3 days away, so we'll see.

I did get to see the 3DS and it turned my brain into mush (in the good way, I guess?)! I just couldn't wrap my head around something in 3D without having to wear 3D glasses. But I may have to buy it if there is going to be a new Metroid game for it. I just hope it won't be terribly expensive.
