It was a hot and dry summer for most of France, water supplies were low, and the grass was burnt by the sun. In the heat of the day, a truck was rushing through the country, it was carrying a horse, a massive horse with lots of fluff they couldn't trim.
In the back of this truck, the mare was breathing the air freshened by the moving car, the rest of her body heating overly. She was worried and scared to die then and there. She had seen the past few days all of her herd be taken away and now feared she wouldn't be able to see them again.

Suddenly, the Mare felt some fresher air grasping her fur and the smell of salt. She didn't know what it was, but the temperature cooling was truly a gift.
With her mind cooler, she realized where she was, and panicked. Her herd was away, her family was away, and she was alone in this dark box going to who knows where in a land of salty air.

She saw shades, she smelt trees and grass, tocks and salt. She heard crashing sounds, cracking woods, running deer, and finally, she heard neighs, and smelt other horses.
Their smell was strange for sure, but it was horses.
The box didn't stop tho, continued through this strange herd and again in the woods, where it turned and twirled before stopping.
At this point, the Vasteuro was overwhelmed and scared. When she heard the sound of the box opening, she jumped outside, she needed to get out of there before it moved again, she needed to leave.

When she was out, she looked around. A high wooden structure prevented her to go away, and the ginger lady who took her looked at her with a look of compassion. She saw more bipeds, younglings and adults, even some yearling bipeds, looking at a distance
The Ginger Lady said something the mare couldn't understand, before living.
The box moved, and she was enclosed in this wood structure, alone, without her herd. That night, she didn't really slept, worried for her future.
