Description Megaman & Bass: Challenger From the Future is a Japanese-only Wonderswan game that is about as obscure as they come for Megaman games. The black-and-white graphics used a different art style than the main series, so this has always felt like the odd one out. Boberatu did a wonderful job capturing the NES style feel for these characters here (www.deviantart.com/boberatu/ar… ). After he posted this, the original director came across the original concept art while cleaning out his house, and we got an official color scheme for the characters. This is a recolor of his work, with a few touch-ups added to make the sprites closer to their original concept, when applicable.

I have also localized the Robot Masters' names. 3 special notes. (1) Thermo Man is named after a Net Navi that has the same Japanese name (Aircon Man). (2) Watch Men. The original name was "Clock Man", but it's an example of a loan word in Japanese that doesn't mean the same thing as the original word. In Japanese, Kurokku (Clock) is used exclusively for wrist watches. (3) Stovetop Man. The Japanese word (Konro) is used for a gas burner on a stovetop. Burner Man is a better translation, but it was already taken by MM&B. Stove man would also work, but Stovetop rolls off the tongue better.
