About twelve years ago, I was into Megaman X a lot. I wrote fan fiction and RPs and all kinds of junk, and of course, I made "custom sprites" (i.e. recolors of Zero)

I was terrible at pixel art back then, so the handful of times I DID try to make something of my own, it was god awful.

A friend of mine brought these memories surging back and I decided it was time to finally make a "custom sprite" worth a darn. I pulled up a Megaman X sprite sheet to reference the style, but everything here is completely original.

This is my old character called Umex. I did a little redesigning since the original sprite recolor version, which you can see here if you're feeling masochistic enough: [link]
