I totally just finished watching Ponyo, the latest Miyazaki film...another charming masterpiece of animation on the shelf. Had to whip off a picture! The lead characters are so irresistible.It felt really nice to draw something, and speedy too for me--conception to completion was only about two or three hours.
I have to learn to use more earth tones, and less crazy brights. Pleased with it anyways. My scanner ate everything, and turned poor Ponyo orange. Copics as usual.
It is now two AM.

This is SOOOO cute!!!! I love how you drew her, and the pose is so great~~ there's so much movement, and I love the way you colored the water, it looks like beams of light are shining down... just awesome. <3

cuuuuuuuuuuuuute! I cannot wait to see this movie :3 I really like your pic here for it. Scanners live to torture artists, so don't worry too much. I'm the same way about "conception to completion" if it's in one day that's a huge thing much less 2 or three hours XD
