Natural Talents: Gilie's most obvious talent is the innate ability to tune people out. He can sit almost anywhere with anything going on around him and somehow manage to either fall asleep or drift off into his own world. He is a skilled sorcerer who specializes in abjurations, and is the ship's mage, proficient in nautical protection. At any one time he has a dozen or so protective spells on himself so he doesn't have to do as much if someone attacks him. A professional cartographer, he is very skilled at making maps and knowing the geography of the world. He's also a talented navigator. Surprisingly, he is a creative writer and has managed to dictate the better part of an epic story, albeit in his sleep. He's also a very crafty con arts and at any one time can be running any number of scams to either make an easy buck or not have to work.
Background: When he was a very young child, Gilie's parents abandoned him and his siblings, deserting them in their own house. He doesn't remember them as much as his older brother and sister, so his only real maternal figure is Turytura, who took up the responsibility of raising her brothers. After years of living in the town they'd been born in, they took their belongings and left town, catching a ride to the port city of Earenniel. There they met Oline Salka, who ended up at the same orphanage as them. He also met Naikelea, a frightful girl who leeched off of his kindness and generosity until he simply couldn't care anymore, wherein he drew into himself and became who he is today. He came to work for Dae along with Turytura and was pinned as the Sin of Sloth.
Belphegor: Gilie is the incarnation of this archdevil. Belphegor epitomizes slothfulness, sadness and apathy. He cares for nothing, not even himself or his layer of Hell, a wasteland of filth overrun with pits and overgrown plants where vermin and snakes make their homes. Once a kind angel, he went to Earth and became jaded, finding married bliss and true love nonexistant. He cared not for God and so fell from Heaven with the other devils. Those who succumb to his sin find themselves wasting away in his Hell, buried in clutter and dust as he reads and sleeps, wasting time. He did not bear the same cruel, evil souls that the other Archdevils did, and so the Archangel Zachariel found a quiet sympathy in him. She took him into her heaven and there he slept.

Partner: Huine Nukumna. He didn't officially meet the healer from The Enoch for a long time, both of them too preoccupied with avoiding people and laying about to do much else. When they did meet however, an almost immediate kinship was founded. They spend most of their time sleeping - actually sleeping, not having sex - and wasting time together. She doesn't want to be pampered and he is more than happy to oblige, simply keeping each other company in a perpetual half-wakefulness.

Siblings: Two older siblings. A brother, Dina, who lives with Oline in Earenniel. The oldest of the three is his sister, Turytura, who sails with him as The Leviathan's weapons master.

Enemies: Lote Narwa - the weapons master of The Enoch. The two loathe each other with an utter passion, unable to find common ground anywhere. Gilie finds him a workaholic pain in the ass, constantly badgering him and others to do their damn job, or else. He thinks Turytura could do much better and doesn't know what the hell anyone, especially Huine and Malta, see in him.

Body Structure/Prominent Markings: When she was first rescued by Malta she was only in her mid teens and starved thin. Much to the dismay of all the women on the ship who provided her hand-me-down clothes she grew like a weed, becoming very tall and very curvy. She has ample bust and hips... but loves to hide it all under layers and layers of Antha's old sari's. She has a Southern Elf tribal band around her left arm and a goddess emblem on her forehead.
Beliefs/Religion: She is a cleric of Atarumai the Father of Undeath, The Shadow Lord. This gives her the exceptional ability to restore and heal life as well as steal it.

Very few of Huine's spells operate on a small scale and tend to have massive protective qualities or are extremely destructive. Despite having such an overwhelming amount of power in her small shape, she tends to be very humble about her abilities.

It is known that she is a member of the Nukumna family who were well known Theurges before they seeming vanished into thin air. Huine appeared after a massive fire rocked a caravan of slave trades - an escapee from the cargo. Malta took her back to the Enoch and she has remained there ever since as the virtue of humility.
Zachariel: Huine is the incarnation of this archangel. Known as the "Lady of Mercy" and the "Silent One", she is the ruler of the silent heaven of Raquia. Her heaven is one of darkness and peace, where souls that had live tortued lives would finally have the chance to rest and allow their souls to heal, appearing as butterflies that would flit about. She would lay at the bottom of the heaven like a statue collecting dust and it was said only the Angel's Raphael, Sammael and Michael could rouse her from this sleep. When she was in this sleeping state, it seemed Raquia itself was sentient, her quiet, soothing consciousness presiding over it. On one occasion the archdevil Belphegor stumbled into her heaven. He did not bear the same cruel, evil souls that the other Archdevils did, and so the Archangel Zachariel found a quiet sympathy in him. She took him into her heaven and there he slept as well with her at the bottom of the dark silence.
