Description Subheading:  Tatooine has been found.

This image was created as a contest entry for .  It was inspired by her photo called .:Searching for Tatooine:. .

I'm not very good with "look-a-likes" but I like to try them now-and-then.  I "dialed" her appearance by hand.  I am nowhere near comfortable or competent enough to ever try using Poser's morphing tool.  Sometimes it's hard to know which combination of settings works best to achieve your desired output.

Rendered in Poser Pro 2014; applied a little beginner level post-work.

Thanks!  It combined a few things I've half-wanted to do for a while (try a "look-a-like", use a Star Wars ship (though I haven't quite scratched this itch yet) and use cut-off jeans shorts).

I think they both turned out very cool!  Looking back, your sand looks amazing too...how did you get that to look so real?

I didn't really do much.  Mostly it was there by design.  I used a product called the Terradome (designed for Poser; not supported in Daz Studio).  www.runtimedna.com/Runtime-DNA…

I also added an IDL (indirect lighting) dome because I was not happy with the lighting (though I like the lighting from the first picture better; the original lighting was simply different in the new spot in the 2nd image).  I wasn't sure what caused the difference.  But I think the IDL dome helped make the sand "pop" a little more (or perhaps the small change in my render settings).  Plus doing a little post-work helped as well (an unintentional side effect).
