Why are you a NaruSaku fan?

Well asking me now is a bit weird of an answer... I haven't been involved in the fandom for quite a while. So I don't exactly consider myself a 'fan' of the pairing anymore.
At the time, I was really disappointed with the ending of the manga. I started out as a NaruHina fan mostly as an excuse to draw lovey dovey stuff that revolved around my favorite manga/series at the time. & I thought they were cute together. I never *really* cared or expected them to get together though; Because I really loved Naruto for its other aspects (the bond between Naruto & Sasuke & the other cliche themes Kishi touched on).
I honestly didn't expect pairings to be anywhere close to a focal point to the ending as it was.
& I felt really bitter that the ending seemed to turn into a weird pairing shabang to push out the next generation. I know the anime adds more moments of NaruHina to make it more believable, but I didn't experience that reading the manga. Their relationship was a little left field because I didn't think it had significant development.
All in all, Kishi's writing of women in general is shoddy at best (my opinion). But I at least felt like if he was going to go the route of making babies for a new series to follow Naruto & their children--he should at least go with the one with more development. Naruto & Sakura had a believable buildup for me... & even as a NH shipper I assumed they would get together. I acknowledge that he did put wrenches in their 'romantic development' though--specifically with Sakura's weird attachment "love"/obsession for Sasuke. But after the fact, I think there was a lot more for me to respect in a blossoming relationship with NaruSaku than with NaruHina (or whomever else). (Honestly, retrospect: I think NaruSasu makes the most sense; Just a sidenote).
BLAH I'm rambling.
tl;dr For me, NS just had a better interaction rate & dynamic that I prefer in romantic pairings. I'm a sucker for development (which NH didn't seem to have). & had it gone the way I feel he intended when he started, they could've been really cool together. But meh--they were a fun thing to draw as I got over my disappointment with the ending.
---
(I hope I don't offend or come across abrasive with my opinions. They're just how I, personally, interpreted the series at the time.)

Thank you for your reply.
"Well asking me now is a bit weird of an answer... I haven't been involved in the fandom for quite a while. So I don't exactly consider myself a 'fan' of the pairing anymore." I that's fair enough, I can respect that.

I can understand where you're coming from. To be honest I don't think anyone would've been happy with the ending now matter what happened.
"I honestly didn't expect pairings to be anywhere close to a focal point to the ending as it was." I know right? Naruto was NEVER about a love story. That only thing that I really wanted was for Naruto to become Hokage at the end. And that's what I got and more.

That's fair enough,i respect your opinion. I'm honestly shocked that Naruto doesn't hate Sakura for all of the shit she's done to him.
"BLAH I'm rambling." lol you're not the only one who dose that.
"(I hope I don't offend or come across abrasive with my opinions. They're just how I, personally, interpreted the series at the time.)" Don't worry, it almost impossible to offend me in anyway.
Thank you so much for your time and I wish you the best of luck with your future projects.

Thanks for the reply as well!
Maybe one day I'll try to watch the anime through & see if that helps my point of view~ For a reply to: "... I'm honestly shocked that Naruto doesn't hate Sakura for all of the shit she's done to him."
I really do understand that argument. When I first started Naruto several years ago, I hated Sakura. I still don't think she's a very 'becoming' character; Especially for the 'leading lady'. In general, a lot of Kishi's characters (specifically his females, for me) are a bit badly written. Their motivations & purposes can get pretty bland and repetitive. I think I began to almost feel bad for Sakura's character though. I feel like she had a huge missed character growth. I think I wanted to see her grow up; Having her fall in love through a deep friendship and respect for someone she detested and treated terribly would've been nice to see. Seeing her let go of the schoolgirl dream of getting the 'cool bad boy that every girl wanted' was something I came to romanticize a bit too much at the end. But that's too much of me projecting onto Kishi's work. It's his story.
I dunno, I'm definitely more anti-sasusaku than I am anti-NH.

THANK YOU yet again!
I agree that the ending has been way more than a disappointment. Oh well. I think it's clear for a lot of us that the ending we got wasn't one very well thought out or made much sense to the story. And I do mean that outside of the pairings too. Cause it's funny, I actually wouldn't have minded NH, if it was handled better since I actually used to be a NH 'shipper' before the terribleness of the end and THE LAST.
But anywayssss I shall not babble: You are too kind. <3 XD

Wow more lies since your gallery was filled with NaruSaku fanart. The terribleness of your fandom threatening Kishimoto, his family and assistants with death is completely ignored.

Wow a few favorite pictures and you suddenly are not a NaruSaku tard?
You must be a hypocritical manchild since you seem to ignore you switched pairings because you claim one made no sense but ignore the fact the other had no support to begin with.

You have very strong feelings over a mediocre manga that ended over 2 years ago.

The fact you believe your opinion matters despite NaruSaku tards threatening to kill Kishimoto is pathetic.

Coming from a guy who obsessively posted fanart for his deluded pairing after the manga ended, that is pathetic.
