once a guy came up to me:
"oh you like anime?"

"oh, just a.. character I made up."
"awesome! .. what's her name?"
"......actually, it's a guy."
".......... -starts to walk away- YOU LIE! ALL LIES!"
"-me and all my friends crack up, me cheering, victorious- >3"

I wanted a girly adorable guy character with a long, long-sleeved shirt and off-to-the-side-a-little hair xD

what exactly do you... do... with this yaoi stuff?

And how is that pronounced? Like, "yowee!" as in the exclamation of pain?
Or more like the name "joey" only with a y-sounding j?
Or maybe you pronounce every vowel individually like "yay-oh-ee" or something?

XD a lot of it is for the lulz. I'm not a rabid yaoi fangirl that pairs every guy with every other guy though. pairings have to make sense in some way to me xD if they're original characters, it just seems.. cuter then a girl and a guy (i mean, not that i have anything against it. i AM straight afterall xD). plus, it's just like guys liking seeing girls make out. noone ever seems to flip it in the media, but it's true that girls are the same way with guys.

well it's japanese so it's pronounced YAH-oh-ee. and my friend makes fun of it by saying it like 'yowee!' actually xD

xDDD it is pretty intriguing but it shouldn't be a concern lol. sure some of it can be 'bad' but who doesn't like a little 'bad'ness once in a while, huh? ;3

Honestly though, I've never seen the appeal of girls making out with each other.

hm, interesting. though I have heard that, it's not uncommon. Same with girls, anyway. plenty of them don't like yaoi either ^^
xD you could imagine that they're bi or just trying to entertain you. it's like... twice the girl (which is called yuri, actually), and with yaoi, twice the boy.
