WIP!Just some ideas for my Dragon/Pony Hyrbid: Cinder Shores
His mother had a fling with a mysterious bat pony that apparently was a shapeshifted dragon. So Cinder doesn't know anything about his father. His mother was surprised when she ended up pregnant- even more so when she gave birth to an egg!
Of course he had some trouble as a kid because of his large size and odd appearance. After some run ins with bullies and a few fire mishaps, Cinder quit formal school but his mother did her best to continue his education.
Despite his rough start in school Cinder loves meeting people, though it's pretty rare. He stays away from big crowds and towns. But every once in awhile he runs into a hiker on the cliffsides he frequents or random surfer on the beach.
He's a pretty chill and easy going guy. Now if he's being teased about his appearance he takes it in stride. Not much gets to him.
His special talent is glass blowing. He had hoped to one day get his cutie mark because of his half-pony heritage but so far his flank remains blank. = n = His artistic creations are pretty unique as he uses his dragon breath to heat the glass and his talons to shape it. His mother takes the glassworks into the nearby town to sell for him.
The gem around his neck isn't really special. He likes the smell and taste of gems but they are hard for him to chew and they make his stomach upset. So he just wears them and occasionally noms on them as a habit, like one might do with their pens or nails. His diet is primarily the same as any other pony but sometimes he munches on fish. > 3 >
