So uh... I'm really excited for the GoGH/LoTG movie. Like, really excited. Like, really really excited. I can't stop watching the trailers and freaking out about it. |DSo then I realized I haven't GoGH fanart since, well, this stuff: [link] o3o;; -shudder- So I drew this! 8D They're based off how they appear in the movie. I actually really like Gylfie's design in the movie, it's the only one that's really pretty different from her design in the books, but I actually like it better. :3
Less than a month until this movie comes out... *-* -dies-

The books are really good, though they're a little childish seeing as they're written for kids. But I re-read all of them before the movie, and I still enjoyed them, so yeah. XD; The movie was good, too, but the story was all messed up. D:

I loved the animation, but the story moved too quickly whereas in the books there was a lot more character/plot development. Also, in the movie Kludd and Metalbeak are different characters, whereas in the books Metalbeak and Kludd are the same owl. So yeah, lots different. D:

I love this! You drew them all together so amazingly! I love all of their faces/expressions. Especially Digger, and Soren's feather tuffs between his eyes. 8D
I'm really liking all of their movie designs so far, and the trailers are addicting to watch. o3o I can't wait!

I know! And there was a glimpse of Ruby in one of the trailers, too, she looks pretty awesome. : D I still especially love Nyra, she's perfect for a villain.

Nyra has to be one of my favourite movie designs too. xD And Ruby does look awesome! I'm still waiting to see Otulissa. xD; I was afraid they'd left her out, but she has a voice actor listed on Wikipedia so.. o3o -hopes Wikipedia is being reliable-

I think I saw a voice actor listed for Otulissa on IMDB.com as well, so I think she'll be in the movie, I doubt they'd leave her out. I'm excited to see how she sounds/what she looks like. 8D

Awesomesauce! o3o I'm also kind of curious to see how they'll pronounce Otulissa, I've always said it as Oh-too-lizz-ah. But then again, I've always pronounced Ezylryb as 'Ez-er-ler-yb' and only reading through the books again recently did I realize I was adding in an extra r. XD; -fails at life-

Yeah, a lot of the character names are confusing to pronounce. XD; On my first readthrough, I always pronounced Gylfie as "Gli-fie", even though the "y" comes before the "l" so I think it should be "Gyl-fie". XD; Now I read it right. XD;; -fail- Also I'm curious to see how they'll pronounce Eglantine, it could be "Eeg-lan-teene" as I pronounce it, or maybe "Egg-lan-teene" "Egg-lan-tine". o3o For Ezylryb also I used to pronounce it weirdly as well, though I forget how. I think something like "Ee-zi-lirb". But now I pronounce it "Ee-zyl-rib", since the word for teacher is ryb and so would probably be prounounced like "rib". XD; Oh, also there's that hagsfiend named Ygyrk. I didn't even try to pronounce that one right. o3o; I tried saying it out loud once and it was something like "Ya-girk". Then I just decided to prounounce it like "Ee-girk", because I thought it sounded better. XD;

xD For Eglantine I keep alternating between Egg-lan-tine and Egg-lan-teene when I'm reading it. I can't figure out how to best pronounce it. XD;; For Ezylryb, I'm now saying it as 'Eh-zyl-rib' o3o Gah! There are so many ways these names could be pronounced. XD;; Ygyrk.. Yi-gir-ik? I was watching part of an interview on youtube of the guy who voiced Ezylryb, and I think he pronounced it as Ee-zyl-rib, rather than how I was pronouncing it 'Eh-zyl-ryb'. So you were right with his name. x3; I figured that would be how they'd pronounce Otulissa, not how I pronounce it, but I pronounce names weird apparently. o3o Gylfie I pronounce kind of like 'gal-fie' which doesn't make any sense..but oh well. XD

I personally say it more Oh-tooli-zah.. if that makes sense. Just so it's not separating the Otu and the lissa.. Don't mind me, I'm weird. XD;; But that's a good idea, I could pronounce Otulissa the way I always have for my username, and then the movie way for the original owl Otulissa. o3o
(I just sat here saying Otulissa out loud for like five minutes. XD;; )

Yay! XD; I have a habit of using the name 'Otulissa' frequently as my name in video games and stuff. But when other people see it they're usually like 'What is an Otuliash;kjfsal;ghda;?' XD;; Most people don't seem to have any idea how it should be pronounced. xD;
